Find out what Spanish restaurants to try in Manchester. Famed for its soccer team and music scene, which has produced the likes of the Smiths and Oasis, this center for sports and the arts is a down-to-earth and friendly city. The so-called Capital of the North has overcome industrial decline, bombing (in WWII and by the IRA) to become a confident and cosmopolitan city of well over two million. Went here on Octber 18th with my wife. She had been before, this was my first experience. Quite a small venue, tables quite close together. We sat upstairs which started very quiet but filled up throughout the evening. Didn't notice other people's conversations or the area feeling too tight of space. The options on the menu are terrific, neither of us ate meat but there was so much to choose from in the vegetarian and seafood sections. We tried 6 of the various offerings, the goats cheese bon bons and tuna tartare particularly delicious. A nice aspect was that there felt like there was more to try when we come again. The service was truly excellent, very attentive and chatty from Karolina. Great venue in a much needed part of town that could do with some more bars/restaurants.Will definitely come back to try more!

Bar San Juan will close from the 25th of December until the 3rd of January, we will open back as usual Friday the 4th. Have a happy Christmas every one.
Been meaning to go here after recommendations so decided to go for my birthday meal. Went at 6pm and was busy already. We opted to sit on the bar stools to instead of waiting for table. Food was delish and especially enjoyed the Fried quail egg on bread with ham dish that we ordered another one, the garlic prawns and the Lamb chops were soft and cooked to perfection. The beef steak deserves a mention too. Staff were very polite. Defo will go again

Authentic Spanish cuisine in Manchester city centre.
This Spanish restaurant is a cut above. It has a lovely, chic interior - the booths are especially good. The service was genuine and helpful. We ordered from the set menu, which was simply superb. For mains, my partner had the steak which she loved and I had the half chicken with a side of very tasty wild rice. The flavours were subtle yet very appealing. This is not the cheapest place but it sails about the generally average food Manchester has to offer. If you like Spanish food, cooked expertly and with great service then I would highly recommend!

This bar and restaurant has such a great atmosphere and we always enjoy our visits there. They do a good range of different beers and the staff are very friendly indeed.Weâve never eaten there but the food always looks really good and seems very popular. On this occasion, we wanted to go upstairs to use the terrace but the opening time kept getting put back! Not that that mattered as we had a great time downstairs and will return soon.

We ate in this restaurant last Saturday afternoon. We didnât have a reservation but we were soon found a table by a very friendly waitress. The food was outstanding!! We ordered prawns, sea bass, bruschetta, goats cheese and beetroot, meatballs and bread. Every single plate was full of flavour we even ordered some of them again. Our drinks of white and red wine were both delicious. The waiters were all very friendly really made us feel welcome. I gave our compliments to the chefs. Will definitely return.
