I love being able to see how well run the kitchen is from the sidewalk in historic downtown Hendersonville. Our waitress was friendly and informative. We both enjoyed the wedge salad to start. My entree was full of lobster nestled in a decadent cheesy cream sauce. Don't miss out on the ambience and delicious fare that make up Brandy's on Main. Looking forward to returning soon!

We were visiting downtown Hendersonville after going to an apple orchard and my husband decided he wanted fish for lunch. We searched on our I-Pad and Tripadvisor listed Bay Breeze. There was a note to call for reservations. He telephoned and learned that reservations were appreciated for larger groups. This was a great find. We were greeted by a gracious lady who seated us and answered our questions. She told us all the fish and seafood was from the east coast and nothing was imported, frozen seafood. There were three of us and we all chose the whole flounder with coleslaw & hush puppies. Two of us chose fries and one fried okra for our sides. We all enjoyed our meal very much. The fish was so fresh & cooked perfectly and not at all greasy. Hush puppies were perfect. The coleslaw was a bit warm and I would have preferred for it to have been cold. Our server was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back if in the area.

The Old Orchard Tavern is a premier restaurant at Cascades Mountain Resort open to both hotel guests and locals alike. It features a world-class dining experience with a local Hendersonville-twist. The name comes from the restaurant's proximity to several
Buffet meal, few dishes, tasteless. No menu choices offered. Hardly the festive, "full Thanksgiving spread" with "many holiday trimmings" that was advertised. Far from it.Also tasteless was the "atmosphere" - the "Cascades Mountain Resort" is neither on a mountain nor is it a resort. Budget hotel in poor condition off an interstate ramp. I wish we had walked out after the first glance.Value for money - precious little. $30 per person plus a 15% gratuity that was certainly not earned. Drink order was wrong, had to ask for the check, no "service" whatsoever. We will not be returning to the Old Orchard Tavern and we do not recommend it to anyone else.
