We are a self rated 4 star motel and have been accredited with "Green" Star (Environmentally Friendly) status. Located in in the centre of town, we are in the middle of the restaurant precinct with variable choices for dining within 100 metres walking distance. A separate undercover, all weather B.B.Q.Area is provided for our guests. We are 2 blocks from the lake with a very pleasant walk past the shops in town. There are a variety of coffee shops with footpath "alfresco" dining for lunch or dinner for your enjoyment. If you wish to go to the clubs, a free courtesy bus can be ordered to pick you up at our front door and drop you back when ready. Being a two story venue, please specify is downstairs is essential

Reviewed By Sue WStayed in rm 13 was ok need to replace bed and remove the mat on the floor which I tripped on . Stayed here a few years ago and the court yard was beautiful but it needs a refresh and replanting .slightly noisy due to upstairs. The room had everything we needed

Cosy, clean and comfortable retreat
Reviewed By TazzatAfter finally being freed from the city we made our way to Yarrawonga for a few days and stayed at Burkes. All the staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable at a reasonable price. Happy about that! We ate good pub food and they have a terrific wine list and my favourite tipple - frangelico. All round a great choice!

Great location
Reviewed By lizzy122015Unfortunately this was about all it had going for it! The room was spacious. Every wall was brick, and the hole-in-the-wall aircon was quite inefficient. The bathroom at least had a walk-in shower, as requested, but was otherwise out of the 60's. There was a nice view over the lake and bridge from the upstairs rooms. Otherwise, IGA was next door, and we were woken by delivery trucks to their loading bay from early hours in the morning. The mattress was like sleeping on a lumpy sack of potatoes, and we ended up having to ask for extra pillows - one flat pillow each was not enough, with no extras in the room.

Reviewed By Mary472014This is a very clean & neat place. The staff are excellent. Have stayed here before and will again. It was frezzing out but very cosy in. It's a no frills place but has what you need. Within walking distance to the lake and great restaurant. Lots to do around town get up and go.

Just what I needed after driving 1000 km to avoid quarantine in NSW

After hearing the 3 pm news when Victoria announced Border Closure that night, I had to press on and keep driving to get over the border before midnight. This motel was heaven for a tired body; well appointed, comfortable, and the airconditioner was quiet
