We went here for lunch. We were seated quickly. We were with a group so we were seated immediately. The food came out quickly. It was family style dining. The food was very good as were the sides. The Green Valley Restaurant in Jerash, Jordan is a very large restaurant, it has seating for hundreds of people. The traditional Jordanian dishes are basic with lots of rice and bread. Though filling it is not a rich dinning experience rather an tasteless overflow of carbs.

Being captive to our tour guide, our group went to Artemis for lunch. On the positive side, the place is large enough for large groups, clean and nicely decorated with lots of buffet selections including salad, meats and some desserts. Also nice being able to see how the tasty bread is oven baked right outside the restaurant. The downside (as noted by other reviewers) was the cost which for us was 14 JD or almost $20 USD with drinks being extra. Otherwise everyone in our 30+ group enjoyed our first meal in Jordan and certainly had plenty to eat

Stopped at Khayl&Layal for lunch on way to visit Jerash. Food served family style, plentiful fresh salads, warm bread.delicious Hummus. Moist grilled chicken & lamb kabobs-well spiced, mouth watering. Dessert a not too sweet milk & honey pudding with pistachio. Last day in Jordan, best food, affordable. Staff hospitable walked me to bus under umbrella. New- Lebanese cuisine opened 10/18.
