Decent hotel, with a bit of old time charm

Reviewed By oliver f

Nice owner, fair room, decent breakfast, but after the extra 6euro fir parking, ended up more expensive than our other stops on either side of the border, and Portbou while a great subject for a film noir,is a depressing place. We travelled around the whole place and cannot truly find a real positive point.if you like Detroit or Dunkirk stop there, otherwise carry on till Collioure or stay in L'escala

Worst place ever to eat

Reviewed By Diego B

We were a large group of friends and we choose this place to eat something. We ordered a lot of different dishes like tapas, pizzas and platos combinados and was our worst experience ever. The place has a sign with PIZZERIA write on it but i do not think that a place could name itself as pizzeria when it is selling frozen pizzas from the supermarket heated in a microwave. The tapas were nothing special and the plato combinatos were poors, with cold croquetas straight from the fridge with the inside frozen. The chicken seemed deep fried in car oil. The waiter and the owner weren’t kind and prices too high for the poor quality we found. Stay away from this place.

Apartamentos Nouvilas

Bien equipados e ubicados

Reviewed By lolyvalencia

Seems to be the only hotel in Port-Bou - a bed and breakfast in fact.

Reviewed By John M

Hotel la Masia is a short and steep downhill walk from the railway station and very close to the seafront. Port-Bou is a forgotten sleepy town close to the French border; we stayed in early summer whilst en-route to Barcelona. Figueres is a 30-minute drive away and Girona is about 45 miles from the property; there is paid parking on site. Breakfast is minimal - bread, butter and jam with coffee. This seems to be the only hotel in Port-Bou - a bed and breakfast in fact.

Bien, muy bien

Reviewed By bertac447

Mejor, desenronarian.
