I had a very long day of work on a project in the area and by the time we finished after 19 hrs I didn't have the energy to drive back, it was a 240 mile trip back to the house over a mountain pass on snowy and icy roads. I saw this place across the street from where I was fueling up my truck, I went there and got a room, the place is older but it was clean, the bathroom was very clean, the bed was great, not hard like some beds and it was the best sleep I have had in a long time. They do have cereal and toast for breakfast, so it's more for people passing through or working that are not looking for a Ritz. It worked great for me.

The room was nice and clean, comfortable bed, good size room as well especially for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful, gave a good recommendation for a good meal. Everything in the room worked well. Parking area was close and I felt safe. Small enclosed area for dogs to use as well.

Best motel of the trip

Reviewed By OhioOrienteer

Of the 11 (all good) motels on our trip, this is the only one I'm writing a review for. The owner made me feel immediately welcome and gave a good recommendation for a meal. The room was very modern, extremely clean, and created an energy due to the artistic nature of the update. I slept well in the comfortable bed. The resident dog Boo bummed a cookie off me. The breakfast was different than one normally sees in the chain motels, but seemed like it had healthier choices. There were pleasant places to sit out in a garden and gazebo. If I travel this way again, I'll definitely stay here again.

Decent but needs work

Reviewed By aholme991259

Interior nice and clean but not safe. Locks were broken on exterior door and hotel room door. Exterior needs work. Gravel parking lot and no recreational use of outdoor space. A patio or lawn with chairs would have been nice. The doors are lightweight and don’t even go all the way to the ground so it’s very loud and lacks privacy.
