La Maison de la Riviere, a classic "Maison de Maitre", is situated in the peaceful village of Esperaza, nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees, 40km south of Carcassonne. The house was constructed in the mid-19th century and has been tastefully restored to its original splendour with many of the original period features preserved, giving the house a grand, yet warm character. The accommodation is excellently located for parking, access to amenities and regional attractions.

Reviewed By margaretwU8836THLovely people, room, view and location. Breakfast was incredible. The room was very comfortable. Our little dog was made most welcome. Shops within easy walking distance. An ideal spot to explore this beautiful area. Loved our picnic on the balcony overlooking the river.. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Reviewed By nickjulia2016Easy to find just off the Main Street if you've seen the picture ! Run by a lovely family Super location within a minute of the village square and the St. Gobain restaurant . Great rooms , lovely breakfast and fabulous gardens with a super pool. Recommended !

We are located in Esperaza. Free WIFI available. 3 double bedrooms all have their own private/en-suite bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Bathrobes, slippers and hairdryers provided for your comfort. Extras include welcome toiletry pack, Egyptian cotton towels and linen. Excellent Continental breakfast included in the price. We have a guest lounge/dining room with microwave and refrigerator and a BBQ is provided in the garden for guests use. We have 3 bikes available for guest to use free of charge (subject to availability). No on-site parking however Free parking is available nearby. We are English speaking too.

Reviewed By setthe15Un rapport qualité prix imbattable et des hôtes (anglais) charmants. Par contre les charmes sont assez petites, sans armoire, et la salle de bain est partagée. Au delà de 2 nuits, cela pourrait devenir compliqué.
