As for the hotel, our room was simple but large enough and comfortable, if not exactly very nice (raw wood and parking view). But good enough. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. The pool is nice too, but the sauna very minimalist, not hot and not very engaging. Note that the hotel doesn't provide towels... apparently you're expected to lie in the sauna in your swimming suit and on the wood... well... Wifi OK. Overall correct but not exactly cheap for what the hotel offers.

Reviewed By GeoffN833Good hotel, nice food, SPA very good, rooms are quite old and lack of A/C in the Sunmer is a huge problem. Got little sleep during admittedly a hot period, but I wouldn’t stay again in the summer because of this.

Bienvenue à l’Auberge des 2 Moucherolles à Corrençon en Vercors. Notre auberge ne pouvait trouver meilleur nom que celui d’un des plus hauts sommets du Vercors : les moucherolles (la grande et la petite). Niché au cœur d’un village calme et à la fois dynamique, en face de l’office du tourisme, l’auberge possède 5 chambres de style chalet pouvant vous héberger en solo, duo ou en famille (chambre double ou familiale). Nous avons l’avantage d’être situé à côté : - du départ du domaine alpin - à 5 minutes à pied du domaine ski nordique et ski-roue Mais aussi : - des plus belles randonnées des Hauts Plateaux et du GR91 - du golf 18 trous de Corrençon - et de biens d’autres activités… Au coin de la cheminée en hiver, ou sur une belle terrasse l’été, notre établissement peut vous accueillir pour le déjeuner ou le diner pour déguster une belle cuisine de saison fraiche et inventive. Nous pouvons également vous accompagner sur des demandes particulières, type brunch, séminaires, etc.

French friends of ours have had a small studio apartment in Correncon over those years, and they send ALL their visitors to this cozy, welcoming, economical auberge. Quiet, friendly. Fires in the dining room fireplace throughout the day and evening. A little bar and tables inside and out. Surrounded by mountains and meadows. A great breakfast included in the very reasonable price, with lunches and dinners also available. We enjoyed regional specialties at their table. Rooms with knotty pine walls and/or ceilings, spanking clean bathrooms. There's no daily room service (or wasn't during our most recent short stay), but anything I asked for was instantly supplied. They are located near a small farm--my husband heard a cock crow one day-- and are welcoming to families with children--there are games and toys in their parlor. The young couple who have taken on this hotel as of December, 2010, are hard-working, approachable, and English-speaking. We enjoyed their adorable puppy. Such a good value. We will return again, when we are lucky enough to be in the mountain meadows of Vercors.
