No service hotel
Reviewed By Mel LWe booked two rooms several weeks in advance but did not feel very welcome in this hotel. The front desk is only staffed from time to time. During breakfast, there was no staff on hand at all and when the coffee machine stopped working, people went to the bar to figure out how to make coffee in a different machine. Beds were comfortable but our 'superior' room was dark with only one small window and no ventilation.

Attractively unusual get away place
Reviewed By tonyandcarmenThe night of our arrival, we had a thunderstorm and we could enjoy it from the deck area on the Pirate ship. The pirate ship has a toilet albeit you have to duck to get in. Showers and more toilet areas are publicly available close by. Since we are vegan, we didn't ask for breakfast or dinner on premises and catered for ourselves. It is still very difficult to get vegan in Switzerland in the smaller towns and villages. The location of the BnB is not that easy to find as it's out of the way but close to a main road, thus easily to be missed. It is part of a Garden Center which also has the reception for the BnB. Staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating and helpful. There are several different experience rooms, we loved the Pirate ship which actually is an ex-in use-merchant ship. Aigle Castle is 3.9 km from Crazy Lounge BnB which is stunning. We only where passing through, so the one night was amazing.

Perfect apartments in Aigle.
Reviewed By VujekvasylI spent two nights in this lovely apartment while the hotel in town failed to deliver my room on time (see my other reviews). I found this place on google maps sitting in the restaurant. The lady who owns the business answered the phone and confirmed that she has a room vacant. The place is about 2 km from the railway station, only slightly further than the hotel downtown. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the surrounding. What a wonderful view ! Whenever you turn your head you can see mountains. It must be beautiful here in summer. The lady offered me a cosy room in the pavement with the little window near the ceiling but it was alright (it was the last room she had, the other rooms have large windows). The room and the neighboring bathroom were very very clean. The furniture was nice and very comfortable. There was a kitchen with a modern cooking equipment so you could prepare your own meals. Nevertheless the breakfast which was included in the price was excellent. There wifi was very fast. I found this place very friendly and I felt like home. There were some details which made this place very romantic for example the way the garden was arranged and small figurines of animals here and there. The lady who owns the business turned out to be very interesting person. While we had a moment we had very interesting conversations in English. I recommend this place very much. It offers you similar comfort as the hotel downtown for the fraction of it's price. It is worth mentioning that there is a good restaurant (L' Usine) just few minutes from these apartments.

La chambre bien équipée et propre avec bon petit déjeuner très copieux. Nous avons choisi ce lieu pour aller visiter les caves Badoux, le Château d'Aigle (Pinte) et le marché de Noël de Montreux qui est à 10 min. en train depuis Aigle
