A 1/2 lb burger. Frito pie. Strawberry milk shake. Small, eclectic restaurant. Waitress was nice. Food didnât take long. We were pleased and would go back. A place for the locals.

Very pleasant place in a very pleasant area. Service was good and also very pleasant. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. The "home fries" weren't fried...they were small diced seemingly left-over roasted (?) and close to cold...and the serving was approximately 1/2 cup or so. The corn beef hash was straight from a can - I have some in my pantry. Toast was served plain and had to ask for butter. Everything was a la carte and the price was over $20 with a 15% tip. Coffee was good. Probably won't go back.

We could eat here everyday. Great menu and prices. The service we had was spectacular. The entire staff takes care of your needs, not just one server. Locals and tourists all were welcomed as equals. Gravy over rice was my favorite side. Wife's favorite choices were potato salad and tomatoes.

In my view Waffle House has become a roadtrip institution and when I'm on the road and it's breakfast time I always look for the nearest Waffle House. So as I was traveling through South Carolina and still hadn't had breakfast I stopped at this location. Staff was friendly as they usually are at Waffle House (must be part of the company culture because being greeted upon entering is always done enthusiastically!) ... and we were served promptly and our steak and eggs cooked to perfection. Our coffee cups were kept full. We left satisfied and fortified enough to continue our trip,thanks once again Waffle House!

during the last tropical storm/hurricane Mathew that came thru summerville,sc. the employees from outside our area came into harms way just to make sure anyone who needed something to eat. I found this totally unreal. i cant commend the employees dedication to their job enough. WAY TO GO WAFFLE HOUSE.the corporation made sure well in advance to have rooms booked for these people
