While DT's was the night before Thanksgiving, Lucky Star was the choice for the day after... how much Turkey can you eat? Everything we ordered was great... and the pricing here always amazes me... so reasonable.Dumplings, egg rolls, spring rolls, lo mein, chicken and broc, tofu, fried rice, won ton soup... and other dishes... so good. All for take out.

Since the nearby Chinese restaurant changed owners and chefs, this little place now has the best food in the immediate area. Completely open kitchen and nice owners. Food is tasty although not inspiring, but when calling for take-out after a long day at work, tasty is fine.

I placed an order midweek and decided to pick it up to see the location. It has just reopened under a new name. They are a Japanese restaurant now and offer sushi. When I went inside, the owners kids are there playing at a table. Cute kids, no issues there. Looking into the kitchen and back of the house area, I noticed it was unorganized and quite heavily soiled. I can't say dirty, because everything looked like it needed to be cleaned. The person was very pleasant and pack up my order.When I got home and took the food out, that's when I saw that things have gone wrong. Here is what I ordered; Beef and Broccoli, General Tso's Chicken, Fried Pork Dumplings and Chicken Nuggets. The only thing edible was the White Rice. I had to throw everything else away. The dumplings were fried in a deep fryer. Not pan seared in a wok like any other respectable place. The Generals Chicken were Dumplings of Chicken covered with a spicy Barbecue Sauce. The Beef and Broccoli tasted like baking soda soaked Mushy Beef. Do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere. I will never recommend this place nor will I ever return

My sons are home for the holidays. They wanted to eat here as a remembrance of yesteryear. The food was fantastic as always. The chicken dumplings, crab rangoon. General Tso chicken were really good. The service and atmosphere were great. If youâre in the neighborhood, please stop by. You will never be disappointed.
