Absolutely delicious. You must visit here and try a variety of everything. The especial was a particular highlight! The portions are big and 2 is probably fine for 1 person (but I happily got through 4). It’s more of a place for a takeaway/ very quick standing up eat but that shouldn’t deter you.

Visiting the fantastic NYC and fancied some Mexican food. A quick bit of research suggested that El Centro would fit the bill. What a fantastic find this turned out to be. Fantastic, friendly, unrushed service. Incredible mojitos and food to die for. You know a place is going to be good when locals eat there - and there were plenty doing just that! We ate at around 6pm or so and had no problem getting an outside table. By 7pm the place was heaving, so arrive in good time for a great evening!

Came here after visiting the Intrepid museum. If you enjoy a good burger or European and Irish style dishes the this restaurant is worth a visit. It was busy when we went but that did not stress the staff. Our waiter was from Nepal and the manager is from Co. Tipperary , Ireland. We were made feel welcome and the food was excellent.

The food was very flavorful and fresh, but I wish the menu had some more options! I went with 3 friends and we all shared a steak, crab meat black ravioli, and moqueca mixta, which were all tasty. The waiters didn’t even make a big deal or charge us extra for sharing or when we asked for 3 extra plates. But besides the salads 3 raw options, there are only 8 entree options! And salmon and steak aren’t even particularly unique. The crab meat black ravioli, however, is quite unique to this cuisine, which is why we ordered it.

After visiting Rockefeller Center we were looking for a quick and unique lunch spot and Margon was a great option. The service was very friendly and our Cubano sandwiches came out quickly. The food tasted great and it was very reasonably priced. It felt like an authentic neighborhood restaurant and not a tourist trap. It was a great meal and certainly somewhere I would recommend.
