We were staying in a holiday rental about a 2 minute walk from here. What luck! You can buy wines by the glass or the bottle and if you speak passable french you will also get advice on which wine to choose into the bargain.Seats inside and out with a lovely garden which has sofas arranged for groups. Lovely ambiance!

Not quite a gourmet experience but a nice spot to sit out and dine with very decent food. The service was quote acceptable. The weather was very hot and their terrace gave a good level of shade from the plane trees.

Next door to her father's bistrot, Jessica runs a lovely wine bar with an excellent wine list; but don't be afraid to let Jessica guide you. While I have been drinking Rhone wines for many years, I had somehow missed out on Gigondas but at Jessica's suggestion I tried it and was richly rewarded. Food is also served but not every night - best to ask. It's also a nice place to while away your time waiting for a table at the bistrot (Le Café de la Place).

Sunday is the big day in this terrific little town. Things get real quiet after that especially off season.We were up for a casual meal at dinner after a big lunch in Gordes. The place could not have been better. Sharable small plates especially. Extensive wine choices.
