Meryle is an outstanding host. The food prepared by her husband Dominic exceeded our expectations for a restaurant in the mountains! The food is so fresh, homemade, different. We had homemade chicken soup with 4 different samdwiches which come on their homemade bread/rolls. Just delicious! We had 4 different desserts one better than the next. Not too sweet, just right. We even took home a chicken pot pie to bake. I wish they were in Greensboro! Well done! A must go visit!

I like fun and different sandwiches and my family likes basic. This place has both. Shaved ham and Brie with apples for me and basic turkey for them. Wait wasn't too long even on a busy day. Friendly staff. Potato salad was only ok. Recommend this place!

We were very happy to learn that our dog is now accepted on the resort grounds. On a slow Monday afternoon, sat outside for lunch, and were greeted by Berlyn, our server. Downhill from there. Slow to bring cocktails; thereafter, we ordered lunch. After awhile, she returned and asked if we wanted anything else. We noted that we were awaiting our lunch. Oh, she would go check on it. She returned and noted that the staff had dropped it on the floor, and had to remake it. Lunch finally came; food was good.We ordered a second drink; when she returned with the drink order, she noted that my beer was the end of the tapper. It was 2/3 full. WHAT!!When the bill came, there was no comp for the wait time, nor the partially full beer.The tip matched the service.Thank you for taking the to leave your feedback, Tom. I ate at Peppers recently with a party of 12. They did well at bringing out everyone's food within a short time. The portions were generous and the only complaint that I heard was skimpy portion of meat on a Reuben sandwich. My sister wanted clam chowder and the waiter offered to heat some if there was leftovers from the previous days. They did and she enjoyed some chowder.Thanks for your review. Large tables are a challenge sometimes. I'm glad my staff made it work for you.
