OMG after reading a lot of reviews I finally tried this place. Can you spell Yummy??? SO GOOD!! I ordered black bean soup, chicken mex soup, and a triple platter. Authetic, fresh salsa and chips, great guacamole...and the wait staff was so friendly!! GO HERE...it's a little quaint place that seats maybe 50-60 and the attention you get is wonderful.

I read the '50 best taco places in each state' and this place was listed for NJ. I was a visitor early on a Saturday. The place is across from a beautiful church and has a small outdoor area where I sat. It is very cute and welcoming inside. The waitress was just terrific and told me when my taco order was ready so I could use their 'bar' for accompaniments. Also, terrific. I tried a sampling of 5 tacos different kinds and that was 9 bucks. I had jasmine iced tea and that was delicious too! Since they make tamales, I will bring my son when he's in from Brooklyn! Definitely will come here again, very good.
This restaraunt has been part of the local culture and scene since Pluto was a pup.The food here is always good and dependable and the service is excellent. Our group. About 17 of us just "dropped in" and ordered off the menu. We had our food quickly served by one young lady, and it was authentic Mexican fare. Don't go to the large chain Tex mex places if you want great Mexican food, come here and eat like a local. Bring cash as they don't take cards.
