I think we are spoilt in London but food in this region is so mediocre. However this was exceptionally bad. Fish was very weird tasting and certainly didn't seem fresh. I couldn't eat it. My son had a chipped plate then found the broken bits from the chips in his hot dog. They were very good about it but really food is abysmal and I do know a lot about food. Dear Sir, I'm so sorry you had a bad experience in our restaurant. It is true that your son's plate was chipped, it was a terrible incident that none of us noticed, otherwise we would have made it again. As a matter of fact, we proposed you another dish which you refused, such as the desert already included in you son's menu. Regarding the other dishes, you decided to tell the waiter about your disappointment at the end of your diner time, which gives us absolutely no possibiliy to do anything about it. Again, we would have proposed you another dish which might have suited your taste better (it must be all about taste as we sold about 20 fishes that night and everyone loved it, including the staff who ate it for dinner).The kid's menu was deduced from your bill, with all the apologies of the staff. Again, we are sorry about your bad experience and regret that you decided to give us such a bad review on Tripadvisor. Since we opened in March 2016, you are the first customer saying that we are a terrible restaurant and I do hope that potential customer will not rely on your exaggerated review.

Having not long arrived at the Sequoia Parc campsite my family and I decided to find our bearings locally on the first couple of nights and came upon this lovely restaurant.Fish is sourced locally and my husband chose the king prawn option. They were lovely, although the following evening we are in Le Pilotis in La Tremblade and found their prawns were nicer!My son had a steak which he polished off no problem at all.I had chicken kebab in the most fabulous thyme, honey and citrus sauce with sauté potatoes. Absolutely gorgeous and would eat it again no problem.A lovely carafe of rose accompanied our meal which came to a modest 65 euros.

I found the owner friendly and helpful with a little English if needed. You can buy courses individually or 2 courses for 22 euros. I had oysters to start and a huge salmon and crevette salad for mains. The oysters came with a simple viniger and onion dressing to add and La Tremble being an oyster port, they were fresh. Plenty salmon with salad and 3 large crevette. Had the house red which was very palatable. Happy to go again as plenty options to choose from.Merci a bientôt

We used to stay in this area some years ago and loved the food here so as it was my husband's birthday the next day we tracked it down and booked a table for the following evening. Two members of staff were standing outside smoking and came in and took my booking and asked Inside or Out. As I didn't know the difference I said I would take a look. I thought the waiter was following me to show me what it was like but he walked off and picked up a huge slab of meat and brought it over for customers to look at. I asked if they had any vegetarian options and he shrugged his shoulders and just said pasta. I felt from the beginning that he had absolutely no interest in taking the booking but once I mentioned the word 'vegetarian' he definitely had no interest. We decided not to go because of the unfriendly attitude of this waiter. It was very cozy inside with the open oven and I'm sure the food would have been good and they obviously do good business but we couldn't face going back and being treated in such an unwelcoming manner.
