Wonderful lunch here after a visit to the Eremitage, a 3 minute drive away. A warm welcome from the young waiter. A fairly extensive menu with a whole page of specials for the fresh chanterelles in season. I had the Wagners Affärre, basically a schnitzel topped with bacon, a fried egg and onions. My partner had the Zwiebelrostbraten. Both were delicious and the portion size was generous.A great lunch in Upper Franconia!

Ein Besuch bei Heidi lohnt sich immer. Im gemütlichen Biergarten sitzt man unter Kastanienbäumen und kann zahlreiche Grill- und Getränkespezialitäten genieÃen. Freue mich auf das nächste Mal.

Die Culmberger Bergstubn ist ein echter Geheimtipp.Mit dem Auto in wenig als 15min von Bayreuth aus zu erreichen und im Rahmen einer kleinen Wanderung - die Bergstubn lohnt sich in jedem Fall.Hier wird noch mit liebe gekocht - die Speisekarte ist klein - aber die Qualität ist dafür umso besser.Für Liebhaber eines guten Sonntagsbratens genau der richtige Ort.Der Service ist herzlich und die Atmosphäre in der Gaststube ist einfach nur gemütlich - im Sommer steht ein sehr schöner Biergarten zur Verfügung

Near the Wagner House, this Italian has a large menu and drinks options. Those on our table had calzone, and pasta dishes. All were very good and there was good coffee to follow. Simple atmosphere. Itâs the only restaurant in the immediate vicinity and is a good choice.
