As a family we've been visiting here for more than 15 years. Nice continental cuisine by European owners. Friendly wait staff and food is very good! Would be 5 stars but half a star less star for not taking credit cards - come prepared.

When we first walked in Diane approached us and asked “ can i help you?” that was how we were greeted, after telling her we’d like to eat she said they had no tables open and turned and walked away from us. We literally saw 4 open available tables only a few feet from us. After us giving her a confused look a younger waitress whispered something in her ear and Diane told us they did have a table open. Needless to say we were a little shocked and confused for the rest of our meal. We watched another younger couple (we are a couple in our 40’s) get turned away by being told the exact same thing from Diane, moments after we were seated. Shortly after that a 65 or older couple was sat and greeted friendly. The rest of our meal we were completely ignored by Diane. We had to blantenly ask for a coffee refill. It was bizarre treatment (age discrimination?!) and clearly selective quality service. The younger server, Vanessa was very attentive, sweet and gave friendly service. She made a perfect cappuccino and the french food was delicious. i can not recommend this place.Dear Firecrackerboom, please accept your apologies we are truly sorry that Diane welcomed you that way, i have to say that this is the first time in 3 years since we opened that's something like this came to my ears, we are a very small restaurant only 10 tables and during this time of the year we are full days in advance and always try to accommodate a table for guest without reservation, even if tables are empty they are reserved for customers later that evening and we can not give theme away or ask you to be done in 30 minutes, that would not be fare, and we always try to rethink the table plan to make things work just like what happen in your case that's why you could dine this evening with us, i will make sure that this will not happen again.I am happy that you still enjoyed your food, your coffee and that Vanessa took good care of you, hope you will give us an other try and we can prove you that this is an unusual situation.all my best regards, david

We had to go to a hardware store in Tierra Verde...and a few doors down, found this lovely little French bakery. Great service. Croissants were to die for. Apparently, they have another “version” of the store on St. Pete’s Beach in the Dolphin Plaza (with the Publix)....we must have missed it!Well worth a visit.
