I went for lunch last week as I work in the area. It had a standard diner menu, portions are quite large. Coffee is hot and just so-so. The service was alright, hustle and bustle of a busy diner. I sat at the bar, it was very clean.

Picture a classic 1950s diner. Now picture it after Millenials made a few tweaks, adding some cold brew coffee options on tap, cage-free egg omelets, and organic bacon. The quality is ubiquitous in everything you order, the service was prompt and the Breakfast Club theme is nostalgic and fun to be a part of.Happy to see you enjoyed our theme and our food selection. On the longtime site of formerly famous 'Pats Diner' then 'Talk of the Town' now 'The Diner - At 11North Beacon' has assumed, and firmly brought forward the legacy, and carried on here (7+yrs) in the very finest tradition of the Cosy All American Diner...and squarely and firmly hits every mark : 7 day close at 2, all day breakfast and lunch, onion grilled skin on homefries (THE baseline benchmark), very good coffee, not a qreasy spoon in sight, quality generous portions and meats at a reasonable price, simple breakfast/lunch doubleside laminate menu with all the usual basic items, with diverse lunch and chalkboard specials, impressive home made bakery goods. The attentive, classy sassy waitstaff hustle, bustle and "honey' all, closely watched over by brassy waitress/owner/baker Lisa, setting the standard, and warmly greet and engage all and everyone coming and going..orders come out quickly and delivered promptly, even with a SundayAM packed house..kudos to the kitchen staff...large counter seating for the solo..spic and span clean, bathrooms too!Bonus! :#Wonderful (small) outside back deck when availiable..#pumpkin pancakes!#fresh oj #real maple syrup # killer cinnabuns #beer and wine (?in a diner?..why not)..easy access off mass pike right in Watertown Square. What a great place. Who knew there could be a fairly classic diner with everything either vegan or vegetarian? I had the Shepherd's Pie with quinoa, portabello mushrooms, and more. My wife had one of the several versions of a veggie burger, our daughter another and our son-in -law the daily blue plate, which was Swedish "meat" balls, mashed potatoes, etc. We all loved what we had.
