I am biased because I lived in Louisiana and I loved the food. This is a pale, sporterized facsimile of that food. Better than not eating, but a world away from what it could be.

Our kids aren't very adventurous eaters, but they enjoyed the beignets. Make sure your seat isn't covered in powdered sugar before you sit down. The outdoor patio is nice on a beautiful morning.

I love this place! It is in an old house, the inside sits like a comfy, rustic coffee house. The atmosphere is easy, the menu is full & the drink menu is HUGE! I had a delicious dirty chai, and scrumptious breakfast sausage & cheese grits. Everything was cooked to perfection & quick! There was enough parking & cute extras like tiny spoons & wonderful jelly on the table. I definitely will be returning to this, or their other locations!

I lived in New Orleans for a few years and have been less-than-impressed by the local Cajun restaurants general, so we tried coming here. Overall was a great meal. The Shrimp Po' Boy was well thought thru, avoiding the rookie mistakes of others. We liked the Jambalaya better than the Red Beans and Rice, in part that my wife makes killer RB'R. Better spiced up. The sides are 1/3 size of the big plates. Good for those dieting to enjoy without the 10K tomorrow :)We liked this place better than some of the other Cajun places around.Know before you go: We tried getting in for noon'ish lunch on the weekends before but the wait was 30-45 minutes. We wen Monday, before 12 noon and scored a great table. They make everything, including their own Hot Sauces, which were good, but if you are addicted to, Say McIlhenny's Tobasco, bring your own. The location is "entertaining" with some local shelters around this area. Street smarts, folks. Parking? You are on your own.....The ambiance was lovely, prices very reasonable, service friendly and attentive. A colleague of mine said "get the Bloody Mary with the bacon" but we we not drinking yet that day.....Go here and get your Cajun on.
