Lunch was good but overwelhming. The portions are huges. Only one waitress and she was rushed. View over the horse dressage area which keeps you enternained. Food basic but OK. Value for money. Will return one day.

We were strolling in a rather cold day, trying to avoid too much touristic restaurants. Although Humpen is exactly in the pedestrian zone, it looked not so touristic, and it was we were looking for. It looks like a pub, wooden counter, wooden tables, mid-dark light. We had two flammenkuchen which tasted good. Very kind service. Nothing to complain. In case we are in Breisach again, we surely could take into consideration to come here again

I cannot recommend this place other than for a quick drink. Lunch was uninspiring and although the portions were generous and tasty, the menu was not adventurous and was, in fact, downright boring. The verandah did not look very clean and some of the tables still had lunch debris and were not cleared for the duration we were there. The view is the only thing I can recommend here and the loos, which were spotless. The little tapas bar down the road is far better and has the same view (although loos are not as spotless!

We had booked a table for three. Menus were only in German but we had the chance to have a charming waitress speaking a perfect French to help us go through the menu and pick typical meals.
