Baires was the restaurant high point of our stay in Badalona. The first time we visited, we ordered a mix of meats for two to share and loved both the meal and the helpful, friendly service. We chose a table on the terrace which was a lovely cosy spot, being enjoyed by other couples and a family with small children. The grill came with a lovely fresh salad and chimichurri. Please excuse the spaces on the grill in the photo, it all smelled so good I immediately started eating and only later realised I wanted to review my great experience!For our last night in town we chose to return for entrecote steaks, this time with Empanada and Patatas Baire starters. Yes, it was a lot of food; I regret nothing. Once again both the meal and the service were wonderful, including a bottle of wine we paid less than â¬60.I would especially recommend...oh who am I kidding. The morcilla criolla stands out as a great example of black sausage, but honestly you can't go wrong. I would happily recommend Baires to all.We appreciate your time in writing your opinion and we are delighted that you have had a good time. Thank you for recommending us to the other travelers and we hope to have you again on your next visit to Badalona :)

...but despite making a visit to the bar, didnât get any service. âYeah, Iâll be right there.â kept us waiting for 15 minutes before we left. And since we were originally looking for a place to eat anyway (and their kitchen wasnât open yet) and only decided to grab a drink, the wait was too long considering the waiters had time for cigarettes and there were only few customers plus us.So we left.What a shame. Buenas tardes, desde el restaurante Sistres le pedimos perdón por si se ha sentido ofendida con el servicio y el restaurante, sin embargo servimos comida acorde con el horario de cenas de nuestro paÃs. Le servimos tan rápido y eficaz como pudimos ya que nuestro trabajo consta de mucho más de lo que se puede apreciar desde fuera. Justo cuando nos comuniaron que querian comer, decidimos encender y abrir la cocina una hora antes como exepción. Les traducimos la carta para que pudieran escoger sin dificultad alguna aquello que querÃan comer. Les servimos fingers, bravas, costillas y hamburgesa, y no logramos comprender porque expresa que marchó del restaurante sin comer o ser servidos. We served you as fast and efficient as we could since our work consists of much more than you can see from the outside. Just when you told us you wanted to eat, we decided, as an ecxeption, to open the kichen one hour before just for you. We translated the menu for you to choose without difficulty what you desired to eat. We served fingers, âbravasâ, ribs and hamburger. We canât undersand the reason why you express you left without eatting or being served by our team. Still, we invite you to come back and enjoy a good experience with us.

The waitstaff was polite and atentive. The pizzas were correct with fresh ingredients, the pizzas are slightly smaller than the usual italian pizza but tast was good . crispy base with lots of cheese not cracker thin. Selection of beers is limited but the restaurant was roomy with lots of seating. Not a bad pizza for under 10 euros!
