Just like 90% of Italian restaurants outside Italy, this place would close in 3 months if located anywhere in Italy.I tried a vegetarian pizza and I found on it quite a few things that I've honestly never seen on an authentic Italian pizza, like broccoli and spinach, while none of the regular veggie items where present (onions, peppers, eggplants).Also, I'd be curious to know what kind of yeast has been used to get a pasta so little leavened. My colleague went for some kind of factory-made tortelli which were swimming in a super-liquid panna. He didn't complain though.But luckily I found something really Italian: when some friends of the owner arrived for dinner (around 15 minutes later than me), they got the best table and received their pizza right away, while I was still waiting for mine.I won't talk about the price: my pay is in Euros so I'm a bit sensitive about this topic.No wifi available, just in case.Dear Redflix,Thank you for your review about our Ristorante. While we take your review seriously and will use it for further improvements of our restaurant, we also want to point out that, especially when it comes to food, there are just so many different tastes. Case in point is our vegetarian pizza here. There is no standard recipe for a vegetarian pizza. We make it based on the season and availability of the vegetables and that is why it can be different from what you know as vegetarian pizza. Also there are different styles of how to make a pizza. Our pizza is based on the roman pizza style and not what you refer to as an unleavened pizza dough. All of our doughs ferment for 24 hours before they are ready to be used. Delicious Italian food with a rich selection that will not let you down! Italian food comes in two categories: authentic and commercial and this is certainly authentic! The restaurant is located in the old town in Wil which adds to its charm and is in a small house setting with many windows. The atmosphere was nice and warm and the decor of the restaurant was simple but really nice and makes one feel relaxed. The produce is obviously fresh from the taste of the dishes- the gnocchi was excellent and the beef carpaccio with the truffles is not to be missed! Their menu and suggestions are written out on a big board- trust the waitress, she is great! The whole team working there seems very nice actually and was very helpful. The chef is Italian. Since the restaurant owners also have a wine store across the street, their selection is impressive and you can have very good wines there. I strongly recommend this restaurant, but one word of caution and this should not be strange to visitors in Switzerland, it is not cheap but worth the cost.

The concept of the focacceria is simply but briliant. There is something vor every occation. Means: - a famous focaccia to go or eat in house /filled by your own style and taste with special things.- antipasti- Pasta- Salat- Tartar- soups- desserts- or just a coffee or home-made ice-tea- delicious wine/alcoholAll is available to go(which is a little cheaper) The service is very friendly.I would recommend it totally!
