L'etable is actually a charcuterie and cheese shop, with a few tables outside. We came upon it while walking around St. Germain, and a very good find it was. They offer plates of various kinds of ham, sausage, pate etc., with salad if you like that sort of thing. (Rabbits do. I don't.), The cheeses looked - and smelled - first rate.Everything was beautifully made, fresh and full of flavour and texture. There is a short, excellent wine list. The Rue des Louviers is quiet and pleasing. The prices are good value for money at this quality. The service, by a cheerful, motherly lady, was prompt, considerate and helpful. One can, of course, buy charcuterie or cheese to eat elsewhere, but a light, sit-down lunch on a very hot day was delightful. Première visite très concluante depuis la réouverture de ce bar à tapas du centre ville.Accueil très prévenant de la gérante, qui faisait déjà partie de l'équipe précédente.La carte est un peu plus réduite, mais toujours très alléchante.Les produits sont frais et de belle qualité, et les prix nous paraissent moins chersOn y reviendra certainement !

Situé rue de Saint-Pierre, le Saint Pierre café n'attire pas l'oeil au premier abord, avec sa devanture plus que discrète. En entrant, la patronne, une charmante femme nous mets tout de suite à l'aise et nous installe. Très peu de tables, intimiste, cosy et confortable, les clients discutent tous entre eux.Une quinzaine de rhums arrangés, des cocktails, du vins.. En accompagnement quelques amuses-bouches comme une tapenade maison, une assiette ÃNORME de charcuterie (qui manque un peu de finesse toutefois) entre autres. Des prix tout doux.. Et une ambiance chaleureuse! Un bar très discret à Saint-Germain, à réserver à une clientèle sympathique.
