A Little Bit of Cuba

Reviewed By tedyasi

I am not sure what took us so long!We live in Freehold and have eaten at just about every establishment downtown. The other night we stopped by A Little Bit of Cuba 2. The ambiance was very nice, friendly and relaxed, but it was the food that really was awesome. Every dish was carefully prepared, beautifully plated, and thoughtfully served. It is a BYO place with a liquor store directly across the street, couldn't be more convenient. All I can say is you won't be disappointed!

We stopped here after a family night out. We love Peruvian food and have found few good restaurants in this part of New Jersey. We decided to give Don Pepe a try, what a great surprise. The waiters were very helpful, asking if we were familiar with Peruvian food and offering advice. The food was great and the portions were large. On our short list for return visits.

This was my first time eating from this establishment and it was a good experience. I had the chicken empanada and beef empanada and both were delicious. They have different latin base dishes including rice and beans and sweet platains...I will try does next time...buen apetito!
