This is a good place to go for Mexican food in Niceville FL. They have the typical Mexican fare with a real good selection of Mexican inspired seafood dishes. I recommend the seafood soup or shrimp soup. It features a large bowl of tomato based broth with generous amounts of crab, shrimp, and fish mixed with vegetables. Prices are reasonable and service is good. Usually very busy at normal dinner times; be prepared to wait for seating.

Old Mexico

Reviewed By NorthStar810867

We have been to several of the OldMexico restaurants in other nearby towns, so when we were driving through Niceville we were excited to stop here. The fact that the restaurant was completely empty should have been a clue, but since it was well after 1:00 pm, hoped that we had just missed the lunch rush.We both made it a point to order an item off the lunch menu which had both rice AND beans, not rice OR bean. But when my husband ordered his it seemed a problem that he wanted both when asked which one. When my plate was delivered she said "rice OK for you?" there were no beans... The food was awful. The meat in my taco tasted like a sweaty horse smells. I could not eat it. My husbands raellano was cooked to nothing but green slimeWe ate very little and when it was time pay, the credit card machine was down. The waitress did not know english so she called some one and have them tell us that. Since we did not have the cash on us and they could not swipe our debit card we had to go find an ATM to get cash to pay our bill. GOod grief. I'm sure that would not have seemed like such a big deal had we enjoyed our meal even just a little
