Had read a few reviews of this restaurant and wanted to try it out for myself. I consider myself a semi-adventurous diner and was pleased with my meal, but overall we found ourselves a little underwhelmed. The space was clean, the waiter was very friendly, and we received our food in under 20 minutes (the sign on the wall states 20-30 minutes for your complete order to be delivered to your table). We ordered three different pupusas, the chicken and the pork tamale, and the plantains with rice and beans. I think I would have had a better appreciation for the flavors of the food (which I felt were pretty understated) had we not been served large glasses of Sweet Peach Tea - the beverage overwhelmed everything else on the tongue. I liked the slaw topping for the pupusas, but it was somewhat watery and just didn't have enough tang - it needed to be kicked up a bit. The pupusas were lovely, not too thick, with a slightly crisp surface, and a balanced ratio of filling to masa. The tamales were nice, tender, not crumbly or soggy. The plantains were just the thing if you wanted something sweet to finish your meal - just enough, not too much, but again, the tea tended to overwhelm the food. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for those seeking a change from the ordinary Wichita fare. I don't know if I'd make it my unofficial go-to restaurant, but I'd certainly go back again.

We stopped in for a late lunch around 3 PM on a recent Saturday afternoon. We were able to find a table but it was surprisingly busy for that time of day. There were several walk-ins that ordered food to go while we ate our lunch. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We were instantly served chips and salsa. Our waiter brought us two kinds of spicier salsa upon request. They have an extensive menu with several combination dinners, burritos and a la carte taco items. I ordered the barbacoa burrito with pico and beans and my wife ordered the #3 taco combination plate which came with two shredded beef tacos. The waiter allowed her to substitute a carne asada taco for one of the shredded beef tacos. The carne asada taco was served as a soft taco with two corn tortillas and diced onion and cilantro. We liked that it was served inside two tortillas as the outer tortilla held it all together. The shredded beef taco came in a fried corn tortilla. Adding the salsa to the tacos made them very tasty.
