Have stayed in Calan Porter numerous times but had never eaten at 007 before. As luck would have it, the villa we were in was literally 200yds from the restaurant. There were six of us and the waitress recommended we order different dishes to share, and that we could always order more as the evening progressed. We chose a varied selection, and found them all to be good. Some were excellent. I would be as bold as to say this is possibly the best Tapas restaurant in Calan Porter. Great service, great choice, and lovely atmosphere. I would recommend booking a table in the high season as they do get busy. Would also highly recommend the gin and tonic (never had it served quite like it before, but won't spoil the surprise!) Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you Chef David and your team for making us feel so very welcome on both occasions we ate here. The menu has some interesting options - Mexican but with a Mediterranean influence. Each dish we tried was fresh and flavourful, generously portioned and served in a timely manner. We tried 6 different dishes in all and loved all of them. 2 dishes in particular we ordered again the second time around - the Mexican salad and the chicken enchiladas, were just so delicious! I also want to make mention of the excellent service. The wait staff were all really friendly and attentive and Chef David on both occasions came out and personally talked to the guests at each table to make sure everyone was happy. He really seems to love his work and it shows in his cooking!! Thank you again for the great food and experience.

Our visit was early in the season and we were unlucky with the weather and it meant that we had to dine inside and that really is not what this place is about. The cooking method that they were showing us is a different type of BBQ. All carried out in old rowing boat that is full of sand to create a fire pit and the food is then presented to the fire on vertical skewers that the chef rotates by hand.Nice food and under different circumstance I am sure a nice venue to dine in, unfortunately the internal dining area is more of a breakfast room than a restaurant, so that took the edge off a bit for us.I think this was early days for the people running Savarca and the service was chaotic and getting a cup of coffee at the end of the meal took 20 minutes and they were cold when they arrived and had to be sent back...To be microwaved !Would we go back ? Yes I think we would, to see if they are over the early problems and to try the different style of food they offer.Nice people, trying hard, with a different type of food.
