While on long trips, I like to stay with a few locations I know have healthy choices for lunch. This spot is convenient for people travelling through the area, The inside was clean and the restrooms were maintained. My choices were prepared just as I like them back in my hometown. Schlotzsky's offers a variety of sandwiches in multiple sizes as well as salads and soups. New creations such as flatbreads are a welcome addition.

I have only been to the Sonic Drive-In in Brownwood once. I was surprised to discover that you could not sit inside like one typically does at your typical fast-food burger joint; that is all that impressed me; other than that, to me it's not different than your typical fast-food burger joing.

The remodeling inside the store is quite lovely, I have to say. The only malfunction is that the renovation did not make the store BIGGER. It's gained popularity now, since the inside is pretty and the workers have new equipment and uniforms, which is all for naught as the place cannot properly fit all of its customers. The way the drive thru is designed makes it difficult to pull properly up to the mic to order, especially if there is a line; a line which can quickly block traffic to customers who wish to order INSIDE. The parking lot is also the same size as before renovation, and spaces are difficult to find and back out of unless a person is very cautious.Customer service is alright, but you must be very clear with the cashier on what you order; unfortunately they have a history of handing out orders incorrectly. All in all, if you plan on going, try to time it when it's not that busy, and if it is, there are plenty of other places in Brownwood where it would be a LOT easier to get a fast food meal.
