Whilst the restaurant is nicely fitted and welcoming the menu was very disappointing. If burgers are your thing then you will eat well. Portion sizes are ridiculously large which meant that I was unable to enjoy a simple salad for first course then my chosen main course. Resulting in an over dose of protein and not a vegetable in sight. Very unflexible. Seemed to appeal to the other diners but not to us.

Lovely place. Beautiful setting on the side of a picturesque lake. Fantastic lunch menu in the week with wine included and a good choice. â¬13.50 is worth every centime. Good house wine from the local cave cooperative. Couple this with excellent service and an amicable host what else could one ask for from la belle France. The cuisinier is very good and knows how to make the very best of good local ingredients.Ate here at the weekend too and the menu was equally excellent and value for money.

We found the Petite Auberge the best restaurant in Marciac. Nudged by a rather samey (duck & duck) set menu, we (11 diners) hit the à la carte menu with great determination. The cook rose to the challenge and produced really excellent dishes. Chapeau!The service was friendly and attentive. We strongly recommend this stylish boutique restaurant
