We were heading back from Deauville to Paris and we suddenly felt hungry. We happened to find this great restaurant thanks to TripAdvisor. And it is a definitely a fresh change from overpriced and not so savory restaurant you can come across Deauville. Chef takes pride in focusing on few qualitative ingredients that are localy sourced.The cuisine is creative and flavorful. You have this great feeling of happiness when tasting the food.We had the 32 euros menu: amuse bouche, starter (cod ceviche with violet potatoes, mango chutney and oranges flavors), main (lieu with season vegetables, risotto venera, vanilla sauce and pomme dauphine's) and dessert (passion fruit souffle, ananas tartare and tuile almond caramel and banana mousse). I had just the main meal for 20 euros and the chef adapted the main meal for our 4 years old daughter (superb fish and vegetables)/(10 euros). The service is extremely friendly and flexible. We arrived just before the restaurant closed and they kindly accepted to serve us. We didn't mention we didn't eat meat. The amuse bouche were revisited chicken maki. And when we told them we couldn't eat them, they came back a few minutes later with fish friendly amuse bouche.Thank you for this delightful meal and for the friendly and warm welcome!

Like most restaurants that carry the prestige of a Michelin star, there is creative flair on the menu. We did not sample via degustation what the chef can create so I wont comment on that - I'm sure he is a superb chef. The restaurant is located within an Accor hotel in an odd corner with almost no views - well the balcony perhaps, but you have to stand up to see anything else. This is compounded by the fact that if you're staying at the Hotel (as most do) - its the breakfast room which means any ambience is lost.Given the hotel caters to international guests, I find the lack of English accommodated annoying. There is no English menu, simply a translation by the waiter - helpful but not what I'd expect. Yes I know there's the whole French/English thing but just get over it and move into the current century please! A very popular spot and when we went to book on Friday for the following evening it was touch and go if we could get in, luckily they did and honoured our request for one of the round tables in the back corner outside.Given menus in French and English we ordered a nice half bottle of Pouilly Fume and a St Emilion grand cru- both very nice.Starters included soup de poisson (no seafood - so great for allergy sufferers), crab terrine and a beetroot and goats cheese layered biscuit with tandoori flavours, all were delicious.This was followed by guinea fowl, lamb, bouillabaisse and a quinoa steak,all excellent apart from the veggie main which was heavy but saved by the accompaniments.The best was yet to come a lovely chocolate fondant oozing melted sauce but just needed ice cream or creme fraiche to cut thru the richness and a delightful light apple tart thin crisp pastry with tasty apples and a great caramel sauce.Service was good and the whole experience was most enjoyable.We shall be returning.
