My husband and I walked over from our hotel hoping to get a variety of good chinese food and veggies (note: where we live we have an excellent chinese buffet so I have a good idea what to base this review from.) First off the sushi had been sitting out for awhile, the setup of the buffet area doesn't have an area to watch people making it so that was a downer for me. The food was tasteless, you should not have to drown with soy sauce to add flavor. The Gen. Tao had barely any heat and the beans looked like they had garlic but I couldn't taste it. The buffet area at first glance looked all right but getting into the food it was blah.While we were eating someone who apparently worked there was wheeling in desserts and fruits in what looked like either Sam's or Costco boxes through the FRONT DOOR. Gordon Ramsey needs to visit and help them majorly.

I've visited China Wok twice and was pleasantly surprised both times. It is a small restaurant but has great food. They have a nice buffet of about 30 well-prepared items as well as a long menu of other selections. Unlike other larger places that put out huge pans on their buffet, China Wok uses small pans that they refresh frequently. That keeps everything just right for eating. The food is delicious and there is a very good variety to choose from. I sampled the crab casserole, duck, egg roll, chicken balls, sweet and sour chicken, green beans, and several other dishes, and liked them all (sweet and sour chicken is my favorite). The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I noticed quite a few people who come by for takeout, so it stays busy even though it is a small place. Definitely plan to return.

Like most people in the community, we stopped in to give the restaurant a try. As fans of noodle shops, we had high expectations.We arrived when they opened today and were the first ones in. It took nearly 40 minutes to get our food and we were not the first ones served. Unlike most noodle shops/ramen houses, you cannot get a quick meal here.The food is nothing special -- you can make better ramen dishes at home with little effort. They offer no dishes for young children, making this a non-family friendly place.Service was lack luster.They have two appetizers on their menu but we were told they did not have the Steak Tataki because they just opened for the day. Really? This is served cold. Disappointing.The price was unreasonable for the food and in this area. If the quality was higher and the location was more metropolitan, the prices might be okay.While I wish all local businesses good fortune, I suspect there will not be many repeat customers here.Hi edljr! Every broth may not be for everyone, so if you werenât satisfied with our spicy TanTan or savory Shoyu, this light and zesty broth would be for you! If youâre not in the mood for Ramen, we now offer a House Salad, Sweet and Sour Noodles, Cheesy Noodles, and Spicey Ricey and Cheese, as well.
