I ordered the Saffron Burger, yum! Local beef and so delicious house made Saffron onion jam, combined with the perfect salad. So good, there was not a crumb left of the plate. Service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere warm and inviting.

We only got coffee here on our last day, after trying other cafes. Should have come here first. Located on the southern end of the main street.

Cafe 47

Reviewed By Sarah G

Stopped on our way home from Mudgee travelling through small towns to view lovely old buildings. Picked this place from TripAdvisor and that it said it was warm had us hooked. It is a barn of a place with a pot belly stove which was doing well. Very spartin and it said a gallery as well but the walls were empty. Limited menu which is fine and the coffee was excellent. Partner ordered the breakfast which was plentiful and good, I irdered the avocado toast which was disappointing. Two sourdough pieces of toast and about a tablespoon of avocado mash in a glass jar. Not enough to scrape on two pieces of toast. A slice of lemon, two drops of olive oil and that for $15. Nice, friendly staff though.
