We were there on Friday night and decided on the seafood buffet. Offerings are a bit sparse for the $15 price tag. Boiled shrimp was over cooked making it difficult to peel. Baked potatoes and fried shrimp were hot. Gumbo wasn’t bad. If we had it to do over we would probably order off the menu. Server was very friendly and checked on us frequently even though they were fairly busy.

We had dinner at The Courthouse Cafe before the "To Kill a Mockingbird" play at the Courthouse, right across the street. It is your basic hometown cafe, popular with locals and tourists. Service was friendly. Food was good. No alcohol. Waitress did not write order down and forgot the fried dill pickles we ordered. Menu offers Boo Burgers and Finch fries with a nod to the novel.

It's a small courthouse square, not that many shops. If you finally make it over to Sweet Tooth, go on in if they're open. (Strange, the whole town seems to operate on siesta time.) Enjoy your visit; satisfy your sweet tooth.
