Strolling along, Dali's seemed to call us in for a drink. Suzette, the bartender was fantastic, explaining her drink specials and beer choices. She was attentive and cheerful. None of us were ready for lunch but her descriptions of the food offered had our mouths watering. We went back a few hours later and were blown away by the items we ordered. The Conch Burger was hot, crisp and perfectly seasoned. The Pescaito Frito (seafood platter) was fried to perfection. Pollo al Ajillo / Chicken Thighs Garlicky had a hint of Marsala. The Tomato Salad was served with the best Balsamic Vinegar I have ever tasted. It would be worth a trip back to Nassau just to have another meal with them!Dear Laura T,We thank you very much for taking time to write about your visit to our restaurant. And we are happy to read that youliked our food and service. Wishing you a great summer, kind regards,Chef Werner and his DALI team

Sonia's Jerk

Reviewed By divemasterjames

This was a real treat!!! After a week of trying several different greasy, high priced, poor service restaurants around the Fish Fry area, we stopped by for dinner at the humble Sonya’s Jerk Shack. Sonya herself was waiting on the porch tending her grills and warmly invited us in like we were family although we’d never met before. There’s no menu, she opened up the three large smoking grills to display her wares and the woody smoke, grilling smell, sight and sound of those delicious grilled jerk meats, pork ribs & chicken waft through the air setting our mouths watering!!! You can choose dinner rolls or bun, slaw, delicious homemade Mac & Cheese, a cold beer or soda if you want. Sit down at one of her picnic tables and feast like kings & queens on large portions of tender, juicy, perfectly cooked jerk meats. If you’ve ever been to Scotchies Authentic Jerk in Ocho Rios Jamaica, Sonya’s gives them a real run for the money!!! It’s that good!!! We paid after we ate our meals, she was so motherly in how she treated us, it was a refreshing change from other venders who get tips regardless of the service they provide (in Nassau, 15% gratuity plus government 12% VAT Tax is included in all restaurant bills). Sonya’s is really worth a visit!!! Highly recommend Sonya’s Jerk if you like grilled meat done right!!!

Bahama Grill

Reviewed By rachelsY501CG

We walked to the Bahama Grill from our hotel, about a half mile away. I don’t recommend walking as the sidewalks are in bad shape and end before this restaurant. There is a carry out part of the restaurant in the front and sit down part in the back. We were the only two customers on a Friday evening around 6pm, not a good sign. The server was nice, but the service was very slow. The Mac and cheese side was very good, the shrimp was tasty, but the burger was not great.
