We've visited Tiki Bikini numerous times. From Diva welcoming us, Michael getting us set up with chairs and umbrellas to Jordan waiting on us all day - this continues to be one of our favorite stops on a cruise. Byron welcomed us like family and the upgrades are wonderful! The food menu has expanded as well. We'll see you again soon!

We attended services here both Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. Christ Church Cathedral is a large and historic church, dating from 1670, with a warm and welcoming congregation. The music was splendid. As Episcopalians visiting from the States, we felt completely at home. A wonderful place to celebrate Christmas!

If you are interested in learning about the history of the Bahamas through visual art, then this is a first class museum with an excellent curator. Spend about 90 minutes looking through the permanent collection and special exhibition, and then walk over to Watling’s for the sales pitch “tour” and $6.50 shots.

Can do everything in one day. The slides were fun for the kids. We liked the lazy river but we felt it was so short we had to keep getting off and getting back on. We did some kayaking and paddle boarding and it was fun. The aquarium was nice to look at but my kids are use to going to zoos and Aquariums so they were not impressed. I was expecting so much more and as disappointed. We were staying at Atlantis so we just went to the beach in front of our hotel which was less crowded. The area was very clean and the landscaping is beautiful. The scenery in general is spectacular! My kids went one day and didn’t want to go back.

This was a great stop on a walking tour of Nassau. If you do not feel like a walking take a cab but try and get here is you have the chance. The tour last about 15 minutes and was quite informative. The place is well maintained and has a lot of history to it. The bar area after the tour is very nice and the drinks were outstanding. You get two drinks for $18. The Bahama Mama was sooooo good. They have an area you can sit outside if you like. They also have tastings of the rum and vodka if that is more your style. I would anyone going to Nassau to try and make a stop here if you have time!

An historic site, there are several small buildings and remnants of others you can walk to and visit.
The Beaches are a 10-15 minutes walk from the entrance along a dirt road and there are few facilities once there.
That said, we’ve driven all around the island and found Johnston Beach to be one of the nicest to spend the afternoon. It is secluded, wide, and has pristine sand and beautiful blue waters. There’s a small bar there for drinks and restrooms.
I agree it would be nice for there to be a shuttle to take down to the beach, but walking is good for the body.

A hidden piece of history that is important for understanding the culture of the Bahamas. Carved by slaves over 16 years and 600 deaths, this is an impressive canyon carved through solid stone. At the end is the staircase. It is that difficult to walk up. At the top their are merchants selling local tourist goods and a fort that you should check out too. The staircase is hidden behind the hospital area and is a little difficult to find. We walked from downtown, but don’t do that on a really hot day.
