I think Iâve only had a issue one time out of the several times Iâve been. However once the owner was notified she immediately wanted to fix the problem. They offer great food and great customer service.

I ordered the lemon chicken, there was more coating on the chicken than chicken itself. It looked like three chicken cutlets that had been sliced in three slices on a bed of lettuce with a side of lemon sauce which didn't have much of a lemon taste. I took all the coating off and ended up with about a cup of cooked chicken. The chicken itself was about an 1/8 of an inch thick without the coating, half inch with it. Worse lemon chicken I have ever had, not even appealing to look at. Our waiter was friendly but that isn't what I paid for. I did voice my complaint about the food to the waiter and he had to see that I didn't eat it since my plate was covered in all the fried batter. Never asked if I wanted something different or even offer to take off anything from the price of the meal. Definitely will never go there again or even recommend it to anyone. Can't believe others say this is good food.

This place is like the ma and pa Chinese take out around the corner from my house, where there are no tourists or seasonal highs and lows. The prices are decent, portions are big and enough packets of soy sauce and duck sauce that any sauce deprived member of your party will be happy. I give them a 5 star rating because they are like any Chinese take out. They could make portions smaller, include less broccoli or make a bland sauce and still make money because they have a captive audience. But they don't seem to bump it up because a majority of their customers might be tourists. This is not the ice cream shop charging over $4 for a cone or .60 a lime "because they can" (and I'm talking to you Lowes Foods) it's nice, hot, Chinese take out just like home at a decent price with a nice friendly staff. (Btw, Food Lion has the best grocery prices, Lowe's was disgustingly expensive and they weren't even on Emerald Isle) We had Egg Foo You young, Sesame Chicken and Beef Moo Shu, ready to pick up 20 minutes after we placed our order. $30 to feed 5 people. Not bad.
