A Step Back in Time
Reviewed By Rod CSet back from the very busy C-63 road you enter a building from an earlier era: high ceilings, cool reception area, tall wooden window frames with frosted glass in the lounge and banquet hall. Yet, the rooms are all in a more modern style: light-and-bright, basic yet comfortable. I'm sure the triple glazed windows keep the heat in during winter but without ceiling fan or air-conditioning they had to be opened for the warm summer nights we stayed thereby letting in the loud traffic noise. Our host kindly offered to change us to a room with a fan but as we were only staying for 2 nights we declined and made provision by leaving windows open during the day. Really enjoyed the breakfasts: traditional Spanish continental style - plenty-full and with great coffee. A lovely large swimming pool and two tennis courts were facilities that we didn't get chance to sample. I really appreciated the free parking as well as the excellent wifi.

Beautiful setting, rustic setting, quiet and peaceful
Reviewed By billsterbillReally lovely experience and wish we could have stayed more. Very quiet (except for the town dog) with stunning views and really old world setting. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful with tips for the area. Pros- views, hosts, the setting the quiet Cons. Really hot and not enough ventilation, lots of flies ( host said was unusual) so couldnt really open windows. Food was nice, simple, maybe a bit overpriced for a single choice but they were accommodating for vegetarian needs.

Perfect weekend getaway
Reviewed By PecinjaMe and my husband stayed here for a weekend and received an outstanding service! The room was very nice and clean. We also loved the cozy living room for guests in front of a fireplace. The food was so good! The restaurant serves delicious food. Loved their dinner menu and the breakfast had a great variety and great quality of local specialities. The hotel is located in a small, beautiful town with a nice view to the mountains. We loved the place and people working there made sure we feel like home. Thank you, Cal Felipet!

Situados a 3 minutos del centro de la privilegiada ciudad de Olot, se encuentra en una situación ideal para visitar el centro cultural, social, gastronómico y comercial de la ciudad. Para descansar, ofrecer al visitante un punto neurálgico y un entorno inmejorable en la zona volcánica de la Garrotxa. Ideal para programar rutas de paseo, como en bicicleta, caballos, carros, viajes en globo y otras muy diversas ofertas de ocio. Apartamento con capacidad para cuatro personas, dispone de una habitación con cama doble, cocina, cuarto de baño, comedor con sofá cama, televisión, también habitaciones para dos huéspedes y todas las comodidades necesarias para pasar unos días inolvidables. La Ciudad dispone de transporte público y tiene muy buenos accesos para visitar puntos de interés de Cataluña, como Barcelona, la estación de Esquí de Vall Ter, playas, montaña, etc

Charming, rustic & romantic!
Reviewed By travelingCAgalBeautuful, rustic hotel. We arrived at dusk and it was a self check-in. Our room was very small but with a beautiful view of the landscaped courtyard. The room was nicely furnished. They also had a mini refrigerator that was handy to keep a bottle of wine in! The breakfast in the morning was marvelous including Spanish omelette slices, fresh fruit, coffee, fresh squeezed juice, croissants, ham, cheese & yogurt. Although the reviews said the owner was knowledgeable of the area we could ask him no questions because he only spoke Spanish & we speak English. I would suggest you upgrade to a larger room if you stay there. Also, an oddity was the maid makes up your room while you are at breakfast even if you are checking out. My husband could not find the clothes he had hung in the bathroom. After searching the room we found some of them under the pillow on the bed! But he lost another shirt (which we think was under a different pillow?) Very beautiful rustic design & architecture made to resemble an old country farm house.

Lovely place, great holiday
Reviewed By patriciac1647Me and my husband recently stayed here for 11 days. We opted for the double en-suite. Every day Marissa comes in and spotlessly cleans everywhere, changes towels daily and bed linen often. You have to share a kitchen and lounge area but really if you do get a couple to share with, on our experience both the couples we shared with for a few days each were very friendly and thoughtful, I did not mind the shared area at all. There is a self contained flat if you don't want to share. The whole place is spotless, even the gardens which are beautiful. Chickens too in their pen. It is a very lovely, tranquil place and I definitely will be returning. We normally go to this area as the beaches are beautiful and all the nearby towns of Begur and Pals too. Always lots to do and so many amazing restaurants to eat in.

Can Muní is a 200-hectare family farm located in the center of the Empordà, a few kilometers from the Costa Brava. It currently has six buildings for rural tourism accommodation. One of them is a Bed&Breakfast with seven ensuite rooms. The other five buildings are rural houses that have everything is needed for a total independence: bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, fireplace, kitchen and outdoor space for private use with furniture and barbecue. As it is a private enclave, it allows to enjoy the tranquility and calm of nature, as well as the swimming pool, the reading area, free and exclusive Wi-Fi in each house, parking, petanque court and ping-pong. The 14x7 mts pool is the largest in the region and is open all year. It is a pool with water treated with salt that has spectacular views over the valley.

Reviewed By Nadine PThe hotel is a delightful farm guesthouse, surrounded by pine forest, hills and flowers on the fields. The love and kindness of the staff is endless, this in combination with delicious local food makes you think you're in heaven. They also know to pick the right horse for each guest. One of the most perfect holidays ever. Thanks!
