Majority of hyped German WWII vehicles were there (WWII focus is rather clear, but you have examples of more modern tanks and APCs there). I guess you have to know your staff when you enter, as English descriptions would be insufficient for someone who is an absolute beginner to the subject. You can climb inside a single tank. I guess a more interactive profile would engage you more, as we were surprised we completed the tour in about an hour, not counting in a coffee.

Whilst in Luneburg on a business trip I was fortunate to get to see the 'Rathaus' (town hall) both by night and by day and even though I didn't get chance to go inside it is a very attractive building indeed and one that is a must to witness. When I visited it on a Wednesday morning at about 9am there was a market in full swing that was selling some superb fresh produce.

The Wildpark is in a lovely location in a forest. Parking at the attraction is free, entry is €9.50 per adult and is great value for money. Once inside there are places to eat and there are plenty of toilet facilities throughout the park. There is also a gift shop.
The route through the park is an easy stroll. Even though they are mostly written in German, the maps, routes and information boards are easy to follow.
There are several areas of the park where you are in with the animals, especially the deer. Food ( for the deer) is available for purchase from vending machines for €1 for a box.
On the whole a great day out, good value for money with lots to see. Although we were not visiting with children it was clear to see that other families were enjoying the interaction with the animals.
Would highly recommend.

Frankly, the views are not so good. Both the angle and very packed architecture are the reasons that virtually no landmark is clearly visible. One can appreciate a coherent town plan and selection of building materials. It is the fact that one might learn a thing or two about historic water storage and study the tank, valves etc. in detail make it more attractive site than the Panorama itself.

What an amazing experience. You get to experience various settings in complete darkness as a blind person would experience them, including ordering and paying for drinks and/or sweets at a bar. A blind person leads the tour.
Terrifying to start with and hugely enlightening. Do not miss this.

This is a lovely old fashioned theatre with great service and a good variety of shows. Here I have seen one of the best comedy shows ever.
It's located amongst many restaurants, bars, shops and other theatres in St Pauli and easily reached by public transport.

Very few visits are aware that Ohlsdorf is the worlds largest, most beautiful, peaceful, rural park Cemeteries in the world. 391 acres, 12 chapels. Very nicely maintained green. Mausoleums, rhododendron bushes, its ponds and birds, sculptures and funerary museum. Famous celebrities are buried here. Moreover Commonwealth Graves ..... You can walk for hours. It takes you back in history and makes you appreciate beauty and life.

I decided to visit it during the night with music and lights, it was so pretty and definitely a place to visit. I would recommend going on the days where it has music and lights and in the darkness. It was a great experience and it was like Fountains dancing along with the music.

Me and a group of mates recently visited Hamburg and took in a St Pauli game at Millerntorstadion.
The stadium is located in the heart of the St Pauli district 5 minutes from the Reeperbahn. It's a cracking little stadium (30,000 capacity) from the outside with plenty of atmosphere to soak up on a match day.
The ticket office helped my mates get seats together which we were not expecting with it being close to a sell out so fair play to them.
Inside the stadium the atmosphere was electric. I have been all over Germany for football and this was very impressive indeed.
The bar and toilet facilities inside the stadium were efficient with no queuing.
The only drawback is the quality of football which was very poor. It must be said. With the revenue this club must generate through merchandise and ticket sales I find it hard to believe they can't invest more in the team to give these great fans something better to watch on the park.
That being said , the last minute winner when no one was expecting it lit up the stadium.
Be sure to visit the Jolly Roger pub across from the stadium. Excellent atmosphere and 2 euro beer.
There is massive club shop outside the stadium to cater to every whim.
We had excellent 40 euro tickets but they can be bought from as little as 10.
Well worth a shout if you're in Hamburg.
