Seit einigen Monaten unter neuer Leitung präsentiert sich das Haus frisch und fröhlich renoviert. Die Karte bietet eine Vielzahl von bürgerlichen Gerichten aus der Region. Wir wählten Bauernfrühstück und Butterscholle. Es war ordentlich und schmackhaft, aber eben auch kein Highlight. Der Service agierte nett und höflich. Hier kann man sicher einkehren, wenn man große Portionen bürgerlich und einfach essen will.

What can I say, this wasn't mine. The aperitifs were good but that's about it. I had an octopus salat..tasted like nothing. The grilled octopus was ok. The rice had no taste..at all. Extra points for the staff, they were friendly and the place is nice and clean.

It is always worth to pay a visit to this restaurant, you will never make a mistake. The menu ist customized according to the sesson, everything is fresh and tasty. As the restaurant is always well visited, I'd recommend to book in advance. Everything penny worth. Do not miss it if you have the chance !

Herrlicher Platz zum Verweilen mit Blick auf die Elbe. Direkt am Radweg am Deich liegt dieses nette Haus mit bestem Kaffee und tollem Kuchen. Alles selbstgemacht und liebevoll serviert. Am Wochenende serviert man auch diverse Frühstücksarten. Im Hofladen kann man natürlich auch alle möglichen Dinge einkaufen. Wir halten jedesmal hier an und kehren ein, auch wenn es nur für einen Tee oder Kaffee ist, oder um sich die Bilder der aktuellen Ausstellung anzusehen.

We have been to this restaurant twice in a few weeks and have been very impressed with the quality of the food and service.
We have had the BBQ and ribs buffet which has been lovely, lots of different foods, from garlic bread, chips, wedges, baked potatoes, chicken steaks, drumsticks and scewers, pork ribs & steak, grill haxe, nuggets, calamari, salad

At a stone´s throw from Autobahn 7(Hamburg-Hannover) lies this gem of a restaurant. The restaurant is always very well frequented by what it seems the local community..We went there with friends, one of them who told me, he has driven by the place for at least 10 years(and not stopped to eat..) Cozy place, very friendly people/service, good food at reasonable prices. What else do you want!! Let´s not make it too public!

Ich war spontan mit meinem Mann an einem Freitagabend dort und kann das Restaurant absolut empfehlen! Das Essen war wunderbar (von Bifteki über Suflaki und Gyros und Metaxasoße alles ausprobiert) und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind angemessen an dem wirklich guten Angebot. Und auch an Ouzo wurde nicht gespart :)
Schön, dass es nun hier bei uns um die Ecke einen tollen Griechen gibt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
