Cost for non locals was 20$ If we would have known that we would not have gone.
We though it was 5$, what locals pay.
The trip comes with a guide who brings you to all the hot spots and explains everything good. He was quite comical.
The beach at the end was so windy we could not enjoy it.
There was some neat history was Japanese bunkers in the park.
We got to see the deer and porcupines as well as a flying fox.
The monkeys were very aggressive!

Taman Purkabala Cipari

Reviewed By Raymond W - Chengdu, China

This site dates back 3000 years to the very earliest period of Indonesian state-making. A thousand years before Christ, people in Java lived in walled settlements marked by standing stones. This indicated that the early Javanese were already religious people- a trait they still possess today. Excavated in the 1960s by Czechoslovak archaeologists, there is a small site museum which displays adzes and other aspects of their material culture. The beautiful location beneath the 3000 metre high peak of Mount Ciremai also adds to the appeal. This is a good site for history buffs but the average tourist may be underwhelmed..

Situ Gede

Reviewed By Luthfy P - Jakarta, Indonesia

Situ gede literally means big lake. It is 15-30 mins from Tasikmalaya. The lake serves as water supply for irigation nearby. There were street food vendors around the lake. Most of it were selling traditional sundanese food, such as grilled chicken/fish with rice and lalapan (fresh vegetables). There were also small boats available for rent, if you want to go around the lake. The lake is managed by local people around the lake so dont expect too much.

Reviewed By Kocepgacul - Depok, Indonesia
