Yes, this is a beach bar and has a nice view. However, the food is nice but not great. Don't get the western style food, order the Indonesian things. The beers are large (620ml) compared to western standard so good value! But as the title mentions, this isn't the most amazing bar in the history of bars.

ate here on my 1st day in Pangandaran, and get food potioning instantly the next day. The seafood was not too fresh, and some probably already in stock for days. They just put more and more ice. The price also considered higher than other surrounding restaurants. Taste was very standard.
Final score : DISSAPOINTING

It is a nice resto with nice mixed crowds. Food is nice, beers chilled too. But they are badly under staffed and our food came after one hour. That is ok if u are not famished!

We enjoyed the beef rendang, but the Swiss owner have also european meals. The place is near the beach.

This restaurant is situated right on the water front with lovely views out over the sea. It is family run and the owner Lemon, is charming. The food is good with a choice of Indonesian or more International styles. Local fish is excellent. Well worth sampling their menu.

I ve been spendind four days here, amazing days!
What to say, Pangandaran is in itself a nice and quite town to have a break off while travelling, and if you have to go there i absolutely recommend this place! the location is very good, directly on the beach with amazing view for the sunset, the bar made in bamboo is quite and enjoyable. But the main thing about it is Pipin! the friendly lovely owner who runs the place all on herself, and does it really good! she s so welcoming and it s nice to spend time chatting with her, such a positive smiley person. She let me discover Indonesia in a different way and i had an amazing time!
What about the food, Pipin is also a very good cooker and her food is so delicious!
Well, i really didn t want to leave, had to but already looking forward to go back soon again :)

We had dinner here twice just because it is so good. All food is freshly cooked to order and the staff is very friendly. The sea is just 50 meters away which gives it a very nice atmosphere.

I took my family on a vacation to Indonesia and we made a day trip to Pangandaran. I love satay, so we asked for a recommendation and were pointed to Galunggung, and we were not disappointed. My younger children are finicky eaters, but they polished off more than 80 sticks total of satay between 3 kids. It had to be some of the best satay I've had in either Indonesia or Singapore. The sauce was amazing, and you had a choice of Indonesia kecup or peanut sauce. Juicy and tender the lamb satay really hit the spot, while the kids preferred the chicken. If ever in Pangandaran I highly recommend a stop at Galunggung for satay.

Mungil steak house ini tempatnya sangat nyaman sekali berada di pinggir pantai, makanannya juga enak - enak, ada live music dan ada arena game billiard. Anda bisa bersantai makan sambil di iringi live music dan menikmati keindahan pantainya.
