Farol is a caribbean-like pristine beach located in an island situated in front of Arraial do Cabo. It is protected by the Marinha do Brasil and it seems you can stay there for just an hour as the boats that take you there need a permission to enter. Farol is completely worth the value of the boat trip that takes you around the most famous Beaches of Arraial.

The Pontal do Atalaia Watchtower is a lovely place from which to see the sunset in Arraial do Cabo. You get lovely views across the sea and of the Praia Grande beach as well. Definitely worth spending one of your sundowner evenings here - the other recommended beach for sunset is Praia Grande.

We have seen many Beaches this trip in Brazil and this is one of the best. Clean white sand. Blue water. Lots of people and host activity and umbrella and chairs for hire.
Avoid the stress of parking and get a 15 min taxi ride to drop you off .
We never went to buzios but heard that these Beaches were better

This is an absolutely beautiful beach with breathtaking views and warm water. It’s surrounded by a mountain with trees making it a natural beach. You can get there either by boat or a 500m hike. Note that when hiking , at the foot/beginning of the hike there is security which ensures you don’t take bottles to the beach.

The Praia Brava is another lovely beach in Arraial do Cabo. It is a pleasant trek from the city center and because of the strong waves here is not frequented by many for swimming. It is loved by the surfers and it is also a pretty beach with nice sand & clear water. Recommended!

Overall a good beach if you want to play ball or something similar. The water was too cold to stay in for more than ten minutes though.

The Nossa Senhora dos Remedios church is a beautiful church in the town of Arraial do Cabo. Located close to the Farol & Anges Beaches as well as the port, it is a white & blue lovely building. The inside is calm & peaceful and it exudes serenity as soon as you enter into it. Definitely worth visiting - lovely photo opportunities!

The beach and the landscape is so beautiful. However the users are so impolite giving away their waste and destroying the beach and the entire ecosystem. As a Brazilian I am very disappointed.
But, I still recommend the beach in non-vacation seasons, as the number of visitants and waste is lower.

A praia do pontal é a primeira praia que visitamos no passeio de barco de arraial do cabo, dependendo do mês, a água do mar é muito gelada, principalmente para quem está acostumado com as águas do Nordeste.
