We had two amazing days with Michael. We did the kayaking on the Friday and hiking on the Saturday. Both were fantastic experiences. Michael was a superb guide and a really nice guy who my partner and I enjoyed spending time with. I would highly recommend. Michael knew a lot about the history of Paraty, the geography and the people. This made our holiday what it was.

No one imagines that so close from the city center there are so many beauties. Mangroves, islands, solitary beaches, wildlife , and more.... everything at only 30 minutes paddling from Pontal beach. Starting at 10:00 am . We'll begin with a short briefing and paddling instruction for afterwards getting the kayaks and heading towards the mangroves. we'll pass by two solitary islands with lots of wild life, birds, seagulls, some turtle maybe? who knows... our first stop will be at strait beach an isolated beach with spectacular views and then... the mangroves, crossing them through a natural tunnel that gives us a filing of tunnel time crossing, finishing into corumbê bay another solitary & spectacular place.

AMAZING activity! Absolutely beautiful, water is calm so it’s easy even for beginners, and the owner is very sweet. It was a very rainy day, so the place was closed when we got there - which was not surprising at all, given the foul weather. We really wanted to go kayaking so we tried our luck and asked on WhatsApp. We got a reply within 15 minutes, and 5 minutes later, the owner opened the place just for us! He gave us a very clear itinerary suggestion, which made us go around a beautiful island and through the lush mangroves. We went kayaking (in a double kayak) and had a blast! Gorgeous itinerary, perfect for the time we had. We got too curious and explored islands outside of our itinerary, miscalculated the time and ended up very late back to the beach (100% our own mistake). The owner was very understanding, very kind and adjusted the price to reflect our longer stay on the water without ever looking impatient even though we were his only customers and made him wait. Credit cards are accepted, which was great. They have some waterproof bags that work a charm, the kayak was sturdy and comfortable. Owner speaks English very well, which helped communication as our Portuguese is very mediocre.

I can not recommend this tour highly enough. My husband and I have been horse riding several times before but never have I felt so comfortable and happy enough on a horse to gallop. Raul is a lovely guy and an amazing instructor that thanks to him we were able to gallop at ease. The views are amazing I would love to come back and spend more time in the area. Please go!
