Panüöl is a great location as it gets more sun then virtually anywhere else at Flumserberg and the views belie the fact that you're so close to Zurich. The architects at Atelier-f created a modern yet quintessentially Swiss chalet that is a welcome addition to the otherwise traditional mix of huts. The food is typical for the area. I've had the Haussalat which is really a Panüöler Käseschnitte in disguise and a hearty dish for hungry skiers. My son loved the Schweineschnitzl. The service was nice and the kitchen accepted an order 20' after their normal cutoff time of 3pm (thank you!). If you like modern architecture and enjoy alpine views, this is the place when you're at Flumserbeg.

Grapplang is an amazing venue for a wedding! The ruins above the hotel restaurant are beautiful and the view is breathtaking. If looking for a special event venue, look no further. It's an amazing setting. Food was a little "hit and miss".

This is an isolated restaurant on the road between Sargans and Walenstadt. It has two rooms for dining which are simple but comfortable. It has a limited but original menu and everything we ate, especially the freshwater fish was fresh and very well prepared and presented. The wine list was not extensive but had a great selection of Swiss and European wines, with many choices by the glass. The service was impeccable.

Auf der Suche nach einem Lokal für das Mittagessen sind wir ganz unverhofft im Restaurant Ochsen eingekehrt und haben somit die richtige Wahl getroffen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, die Speisen haben sehr gut geschmeckt und auch das Preisleistungverhältnis ist absolut stimmig. Dazu kommt, dass es sich jeweils um sehr grosszügige Portionen handelt und niemand hungrig das Restaurant verlassen wird :)

We had dinner here one night and the waitress was very helpful explaining the menu as it was in German. The food was delicious and you could help yourself from the salad buffet. The schnitzel I had was so big the waitress wrapped what I couldn't finish in tin foil to take away. We had a lot of food in a lovely atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Nice restaurant with a wide range of food. Swiss specialties as well as pizza, salad, soup and different meats. You can also book rooms, as Churfirsten is also a hotel. Friendly staff. Do not eat a pizza, as it is unfortunately something that they do not do very well.

This Restaurant was recommended to us by a local friend. It is run by two guys, Chef Stefan Rehli and Roger who does the service. The menu is not big but changes according to the season and Stefan uses products from the region. We have visited this excellent Restaurant twice already and each time were really very happy with the quality of the food and the service. These two guys are passionate about their business, are multi lingual and deserve to be successful.
