Spotless and excellent hosts
Reviewed By HCCCWI don’t normally stay in small hotels/B and Bs so wasn’t sure about booking to stay here. I am very glad I did. The location is great for Puy du Fou, there is ample parking and the accommodation is spotlessly clean. This in itself is enough to recommend it but in addition to this, the bedrooms are beautifully appointed and the hosts are wonderful. We had a lovely meal in the dining room which was not only tasty but great value for money (17 euros for adults and 9 euros for children). The breakfast was also fabulous and included lots of pastries, crepes, yoghurts, fruit, orange juice, tea and coffee. We sat in the garden in the evening and the host appeared with fresh apricots and water. Another nice touch was a face mister which was very much appreciated in 38 degree heat. I asked for some tea and was served it in a pot on a lovely tray. What more could you ask for?

Exceptionnel à 5mn du Puy du Fou ! Gîtes 3 et 4 étoiles. Gite de 15 personnes, et gite de 8 personnes. Venez vous ressourcer dans notre résidence de charme et continuez à rêver à travers nos différentes ambiances : Romaine, Viking, Mousquetaire, avec une capacité totale de 15 personnes et son espace bien être équipé d'un spa et d'un sauna pour ce grand gîte ou au sein de notre gîte de 8 personnes à l'ambiance cosy équipé d'un grand spa en extérieur.[

Reviewed By Jacky MLes côtés positifs: Accueil des propriétaires, avenants, agréables et gentils. Le petit déjeuner au TOP! Confiture maison, jus d'orange frais, pain, brioche et viennoiseries très bonnes. Yaourt frais! Grande terrasse. Cuisine équipée. LE CALME!!! Les moins: Je dirais la literie car j'adore les matelas très très durs. Mais je chipote!

Reviewed By V5301OZlucyfChambre sans fenêtre. Pas de climatisation oubliez l'été pour y séjourner Salle de bain exiguë si vous faites plus de 90kilo oubliez la douche. Présence de fourmis dans la chambre.?!!!!! Impossibilité de mettre vos bagages hormis au sol Table de nuit quasi inexistante à peine de quoi mettre son portable. Manque de prises électriques pour vos recharges obliger de débrancher le téléviseur. Ménage pas fait Vraiment Je ne conseille pas et je ne reviendrai pas On me rappelle le lendemain pour régler ma taxe de séjour réglé la veille incompétence totale.

Fini les séjours imposés du samedi au samedi, vous pouvez arriver et partir le jour de votre choix. Réservation à la nuit possible, même en juillet et août (1 nuit minimum en emplacement camping et 2 nuits minimum en locatif).

Quiet complex close to the beach
Reviewed By mcmahon_tThis complex made a welcome change from many camping/mobile home parks located in the Vendee region. Located about 800m from the beach the complex has 25 approx small houses catering for many family sizes or couple. The outdoor pool is attached to the reception area and was never very busy during the day. Accommodation is compact with the basic essentials for self catering, sheets & towels attract a separate charge. Bikes are available on site for hire with table tennis another option on site. As a mature couple we found the absence of waterslides, playgrounds, etc. a real bonus and ensured that we could enjoy some quality chillax time eating al fresco or playing cards. They were loads of families on site with children but most days they seemed to be at the beach. Good value for a week in August, a real find in the Vendee.
