Guest House "Près des Montgolfières" is an ideal place for balanced family holidays. Based in a calm village, surrounded by horses, donkeys, vineyards, flowers and hot air balloons the guest house offers free parking, free internet, a nice park with a children playground, pick-nick area and barbeque facilities. Guest House "Près des Montgolfières" offers 5 large (22 - 50 sq.m. each) and fully equipped local style appartements. Each appartement has an independent entrance, a living / dining room with a TV, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, cooker, kettle, coffee maker, dishes, glasses, tools), terrace or balcony and a bathroom. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower, shampoo / soap, hairdryer and towels. Natural linen bedding is provided and included in the price. Breakfast for additional fee is available. Reviewed By rolym315We stayed for a night en route to the South West. The owner was very welcoming, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and perfect for a family. It was easy enough to find and park. Our kids enjoyed feeding the alpaca's with the owner. Would stay again.

Reviewed By morganec149Tout d'abord un très bon emplacement, proche du zoo, dans un quartier très calme et apaisant. La maison de nos hôtes est toute mignonne et très bien entretenue. La chambre est quant à elle très confortable : Un lit bien douillet, des draps propres puis pleins de petites attentions; thé, café, bonbons, gâteaux à disposition. La salle de bain très propre et fonctionnelle. Le petit déjeuner, un vrai délice, des confitures, du miel et du fromage de producteurs locaux, viennoiseries et muffins maisons. Pour finir des hôtes adorables, un accueil chaleureux avec une explication du zoo et un échange agréable autour d'un petit apéro ! Nous avions l'impression de quitter la maison lorsque nous sommes parties ! Bref, merci pour ce moment ?

Chambre très propre bien agencée. 1 mini studio avec frigo, micro ondes, bouilloire, thé, café douche à jets, produits de toilette. Petit déjeuner copieux. Bouteilles d'eau à l'arrivée au frais. Chambre très calme. Proche des restaurants et du centre. Parking facile. Adresse à garder.

Reviewed By aidanstorey100Just a quick note to say to be very careful when booking with Centerparcs as they are not providing full refunds relating to COVID. Having made a booking in 2019 for a 2020 visit and with the parks being closed in both 2020 and 2021 for the period of my booked visit Centerparcs are of the view that I should not receive a full refund. Be very careful if thinking of booking for 2022

Reviewed By CleopatraBunnyI wish I’d booked a longer stay here! Host Antoine and his hunting dog, Nola, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Held in his family for several generations, the six-acre property is a truly serene and beautiful place. The priory hotel dates back to 1060 but is completely renovated, quiet and comfortable. Windows open for fresh country air. Bath has no shower, just a tub with shower faucet for bathing. If you are lucky, you’ll share an aperitif with Antoine outside before going to dinner at Hotel du Pont (he can call for your reservation as it’s the only place nearby). The gardens have been lovingly tended and curated so you’ll enjoy breakfast with homemade jams from the garden’s fruit, cherries right off the tree, honey from the bees, and eggs from the chicken. Do take time to wander the paths with peonies, roses, trees, ponds and more. Many are labeled. There’s even a sequoia tree from California planted eons ago! Antoine is caretaker for the church h next door and can tell you its history and show you his family mural inside. Small but beautiful and a gem to see. Free parking inside the locked gates (park outside the next door church when you arrive and then move your car inside the gates). Great Wi-Fi. Next time I’m in the Loire Valley, I’ll be booking a longer stay! I was enchanted and hope you will be as well.

A little paradise in this crazy world
Reviewed By ronjC8829HEThe first minute we arrived we were struck by the relaxed atmosphere and ambiance. No glamour, fancy stuff or empty appearances. All natural and true. Rustic in a good way. A touch artistic. And then of course all the animals walking around freely. Having a drink in the garden with chicken running around and a visit of a donkey passing by. The rooms were fantastic and all decorated with great taste. The very kind hostess and owner cooked us a great meal and super breakfast. This is the kind of place where you want to live. Beautiful, peaceful, inspiring, restful. Not for the people that want pretentious castles and butlers serving them with white gloves. They should go elsewhere. This is the real thing. It's about life and how it is intended. We will return for sure to this truly unique experience.

Unexpected overnight stay, but delightful
Reviewed By teddybeeearGetting lost in France is not recommended, but if you do, be lucky and find Hotel du Commerce in Oucques. I had no idea of where I was, but it was getting late so I told taxi driver to take to the nearest hotel. The room was a pleasure with bright yellow on one wall and red on another. I had dinner, maybe fish, then spent a restful night.
