Le propiétaire nous a cuisiné un repas fait de produits locaux et frais.A retenir la pavé de saumon fumé maison, extraordinaire. Chambre très agréable et petit déjeuner copieux et gourmand A recommander absolument quand vous êtes dans le coin et meme à faire le détour pour venir

Traditional Manor House with lovely hostess in the centre of St Brieuc
Reviewed By Tim AThis is the second time we have used Maison de Benedicte. The House is a traditional old French Manor House with beautiful antique furniture, with the rooms wonderfully decorated. They are well equipped as is the bathroom. Spotlessly clean. On arrival Madame Benedicte offered us a cup of tea and chatted with us. Very welcoming. We had to leave her place very early (6:30am) but she prepared a fantastic breakfast with home made plum jam and traditional Breton cake amongst other goodies. It really is a unique place to go. We will definitely go there again ourselves.

De l’accueil des hôtes des plus chaleureux, à la propreté irréprochable et au luxe et à la modernité des chambres, sans oublier le petit-déjeuner local varié copieux. Mention spéciale pour la table d'hôtes digne d'un étoilé. Nous avons passé une magnifique et inoubliable soirée avec le jeune couple de Paris, les retraités de Normandie, le cycliste de Belgique. Merci à Alain et Sylvie pour ces moments et si nous revenons en Bretagne ce sera chez vous.

Reviewed By fanfan5355Un accueil chaleureux en toute simplicité, chambre très propre et literie très confortable, environnement calme, petit déjeuner copieux et de qualité, des produits frais, servi en terrasse fermée avec vue sur un petit parc verdoyant, reposant, des petites attentions dans la chambre, thé, tisane, café et bouilloire, des livrets pour visiter les endroits intéressants et touristiques, Fabienne est très à l'écoute des clients, endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. Je le recommande et j'y retournerai avec plaisir. Le stationnement est sécurisé puisqu'il se fait dans la cour de cette maison d'hôtes

Ar Maen - truly heaven!

They are wonderful hosts, full of knowledge about the surrounding area which is absolutely stunning. The breakfast is superb and the bedrooms really comfortable. We stayed in Brehat which has a huge bed, a fantastic power shower and bio products in the bathroom. Complementary water is provided and the guest living room/breakfast room has a coffee machine and fresh water dispenser for guests' use. There are also dozens of leaflets with local information. Christophe is fluent in English and they would love to have more British guests stay with them. There is lots of beautiful outside space too that guests are welcome to use. We cannot recommend Ar Maen highly enough.

Reviewed By DANSE29Dans une très belle maison, vous vous arrêterez pour une pause champêtre au bord du canal de Nantes à Brest. Les chambres sont grandes et superbes. L'environnement très reposant et le petit-déjeuner succulent et très copieux servi sur une table digne des grandes maisons. La cuisine est à disposition et est très bien équipée. Notre hôtesse est une femme charmante qui sait recevoir. On se croyait "à la maison"

Reviewed By Stuart RI was touring Brittany on my bike and had planned to stay at the nearby campsite a few kilometers away only to discover upon arrival it had closed. I realised Les Gites Du Goelo was nearby and was lucky enough to be able to turn up in the evening without prior booking and stay in one of the immaculate en suite rooms for the night. Perfectly polite host, good English and very welcoming, nothing was a problem. Breakfast was also served next morning, and I was again charmed by the hospitality and could think of no better way to start the day. Overall a great place to stay either overnight or longer, I will recommend Les Gites Du Goelo to my friends.
