We stopped in for lunch and were just amazed by the quality of the food served. This is one of those little places hidden in the alleys of the old quarter, and the place looks like something out of the past. We had the daily special, which included a large salad, a salmon fillet, and a glass of wine. For two of us, the bill came to only 19 euros! That's half of what we spent on lunches elsewhere on our trip.

Varias veces he comido en el y la verdad és que muy bien.Menú diario variado, y muy elaborado.Platos muy bien presentados. Ambiente moderno. Servicio amable y muy correcto.Hoy hemos comido, ensalada de atún, y morcilla de primero y brocheta de segundo.Opinión escrita en castellano por imperativo de las normas de Tripadvisor ( NO ADMITIDEN EL CATALÃN).Des de aquà reivindico que , el Catalán sea una lengua reconocida por Tripadvisor.

This is a very good eating option if you are visiting the nearby Montserrat monastery. You will find no nouvelle cuisine here, just good raw ingredients properly prepared in a simple way.

Nous cherchions avant d'aller visiter l'abbaye de Montserrat de quoi nous restaurer , mais disons légèrement .nous avons demandé des tapas en premier lieu , charcuterie , fromages , accompagné d'une bière pour chacun d'entre nous .Le plats étaient de très bonne qualité , la bière servie fraiche , ( quantité impressionnante , verre plein ) , le prix des tapas : 5 ⬠, vous entendez bien 5 ⬠.la serveuse nous proposa un autre plat , des spaghettis en sauce , avec parmesan râpé , avec une bière comprise , pour 4 ⬠, nous terminâmes le PETIT repas avec un café : note finale 10 ⬠par personnes .Incroyable mais vrai .pour grand Futé .

Good tapas combo with a really good Catalan sausage option. The crepe also delightful. Try a bottle of the Enate, well priced at 18e. Very enjoyable lunch.

An excellent week end for a basketball team that also won the Basket U21 Catalan Championship!Girls enjoyed Can Faine and they met a very peculiar person, Maria, "self-made woman" who surprised us with her frank conversation and life experiences that made us a very pleasant stay.The place is very nice, quiet, homemade cooking, and players commented that the breakfast was a breakfast to remember.Hugs to Maria !!

I had dinner at La pizza del Pont last week. I got myself one of the biggest surprises of my last restaurant experiences. The name says it all. They do pizzas mainly and they do them well. Angel, the chef, was extremely helpful explaining to us how he got into the pizza business and he was getting more and more excited with each word he said. You could feel the passion on him. The service was near to perfection and Brigitte is in charge of it. Highly professional, Brigitte was attending us so well without forgetting other tables. I noticed also that she was calling customers by their names. That gave me a lovely feeling, I suppose La pizza del pont get many regulars which is always a good sign. We tried a few different pizzas from Angel's imagination and they were kind enough to do a special dessert to celebrate my companion's birthday. I cannot fault La pizza del Pont at all even though I like to find sometimes something not quite right so to suggest improvements to the places I visit.Congratulations Angel and Brigitte. You are doing a good job and there's nothing I can say but Good luck with the restaurant. Your food and service are amazing. Le Pont de Vilomara is lucky to have a place like yours in the town.

This place is deservedly number 1 at time of doing this review. It appears to be only open Friday - Sunday (for info). There were 4 of us dining, with three 5/5 and one 4/5. The impression overall one gets is of passionate and interested staff - the waiter was on the ball, friendly and efficient (despite being only a young lad). The chef came out to see what we thought of his creations. The desserts weren't as impressive as the starters and mains, but I didn't think it fair to mark down to 4 for that...maybe 4 1/2!
