We both got the shrimp etouffee Poboy. It was good, but extremely messy. Although it was good, I don't believe we will get this again. Service always great.

Love the decor and the setup of this restaurant. Great service from the time you enter to the time you leave. Food is spectacular. Great flavor and properly proportioned. My only complaint was that it was noisy. Everyone seemed to be talking so loud as to talk over the table next to them which made the place loud.Thank you for your review! Yes, it can get noisy when we are slammed, such as when we have a pre-concert crowd. It is not typically that loud. Thanks again for your wonderful review of our food, service and decor!Steve S. Nash's Restaurant

A friend and I stumbled across Nash’s on an early Saturday evening. It’s in a beautiful old home with semiprivate seating on what was once an outdoor porch, now glassed in. We had the Italian wop salad and tomato with mozzarella and basil to start, then chose the eggplant parmigiana and the lasagna for our main course. Everything was delicious! Their marinara is on the sweet side, so keep that in mind as you order. The service was great, the food was wonderful, and the restaurant itself is quaint. I highly recommend Nash’s and will definitely go back when I’m in the area!

The neighborhood Mexican restaurant was very busy but we were seated very quickly but just a little too close to the live entertainment. There was no other choice for seating but if you really wanted to have a conversation, you should look elsewhere. The food was good but the service was a little slow. The seafood rolls appetizer were very good but the bessitos (shrimp wrapped in bacon) were too dry. The fish taco were good and well presented. The fajitas were cooked very well but the server never came back with the flour torillas. Overall an average place not to be visited on a busy Friday or weekend.

Enjoyed our dinner here. We got the Seafood Platter and Catfish Platter with grilled instead of fried items. The Shrimp BLT was a little disappointing because there was not much avocado. Our waitress was nice but they seemed short handed on wait staff.

Louisiana Crawfish Time

Only open during crawfish season, which usually runs from January through June. Serving Acadiana’s best boiled crawfish and oysters on the half shell since 2000.

This was my second trip to Louisiana Crawfish Time. The crawfish and boiled shrimp were excellent size and very nice! We got the regular (non-spicy) variety but the crawfish were still quite spicy. I prefer seafood to be boiled in the spices rather than seasoned afterwards. There was too much spice on the exterior of the food and was a little off-putting. The service was excellent and could not have been better. I would certainly return just would not get the boiled seafood.
